Why are you guys so concerned about Walmart..? There are many other places that sell the PlayBook. Ex. London Drugs, Visions, The Source, Sears, Future Shop, Best Buy.

I'm not concerned about walmart...everytime i got to their stupid website they save they have them IN STOCK then i call the store and they say there all OUT OF STOCK...frustrating a little bit...I called all those store u listed off all out of stock its pain in the fucking ass..

The online store inventory check is iffy. Yesterday I checked FS on Robson and it said still in stock. I walked 3 blocks and they told me sold out. Called Walmart this morning and the bitch literally told me to fuck off and hang up.

So I decided fuck it and not wasting my time buying from the store. I'm buying it online, resellers can go to hell and suck a dick.

^^haha i like your thinking re-sellers can suck it! been on the phone for the past 2 days trying to find the unicorn that is the playbook and still no luck places like london drugs and FS say they are going to receive more supposedly by friday or next week...

go to staples. they are accepting pre-orders for their next batch of playbooks.

ex.
if a store is expecting 10 playbooks but get 20 pre-orders. they will get 20 playbooks instead of the 10.

Don't think there is a short supply of playbook like the Hp touchpad fire sale. Online would be a good place if local supply all ended up on craiglist.... LOL

It's pretty worth it..I definitely didn't need it to begin with. But for the price I think it is. I'm not a business person just a regular consumer. the browser impressed me as I didn't think it would be this good. build quality is excellent.

I mainly use it when I'm in bed on BBM, VEVO watching old music videos, so DOPE!
browse through my pictures I take, screen is absolutely crisp, even better than my laptop.

Overall.. even if you don't need it like myself, for the price you can't go wrong.
It would be excellent for travelling, super compact and sleek.

Get it man...join the dark side. :smug:

Haha yeah man, I knew this would happen and I didn't want to run around looking for one..so I bought it a few days before the sale and came back for a price adjustment! Even then it was hard to find a 16GB..I went to 4 stores(without calling the store, assuming they would just have it) and finally on the last store "The Source" they had ONE left haha.

yeah I'm i said to myself i wouldn't get the playbook but cuz the price is set so good and i can pair it with my berry i was hooked wheeeeew can't wait for mine to come in hopefully it won't take the 10 days the guy says and comes earlier i can't wait!

Definitely worth it even if it was at the original $299 price I got it for. It's small and portable which easily fits anywhere like coat pocket, car arm rest, small messenger bag, GF's purse without adding much weight. Packed in this small tablet is a lot of power and the best thing is when I'm transitting to school I can tether or bridge to my phone and browse/watch videos on a much larger screen. This is perfect for those who think BlackBerry's screen is too small - it is now an extension of your BlackBerry once you bridge it.

There's actually a lot of games now. Looks like there are a lot of more serious paid games with decent graphics in App World than time wasting games/apps like the AppStore.

Even though I have no use for it. I still like it. I can use it on the go
