Direct2drive is the cheapest so far ($45), albeit the cheapest without offering any perks (Physical Warfare/SPECACT, etc), so I think I'm going to go with them unless I can find a way to get the US BestBuy pre-order bonuses up here. |
Eb has the physical warfare...which is early access to those weapons/mods. I was gonna go with Spectat at bestbuy as well..for me it really doesnt matter now i guess..although I do want to get a physical copy. stylin just play low-med with your current set-up...or buy a new computer if you got cash to burn |
if anyone needs new computer stuff just shoot me a pm. I can get it at cost and will hook you guys up |
Stylin in my opinion you could think about upgrading to a newer motherboard (ex. socket 1155). Check the local stores like ME or NCIX, some times they carry board+cpu bundles for very good prices. Check your current ram and decide maybe if it's worth it to get an additional 4gb. The Kingston HyperX 4gb I got in the winter only cost around $80, so it's not too expensive. But do make sure the parts fit perfectly together though. As for the video card I do believe the 4870 may be a little on the low-end side for running this game. Better frame rates = better gameplay right? :P Maybe look to invest in a GTX 570 if the 580 is too expensive. Or if possible SLI 2 GTX 460s :P |
its always better to buy 1 better video card than to sli 2 older generation ones |
dat lighting :fuckyea: it's good to seeing it based on actual in-game footage...instead of pre-alpha software lol in other news, health regen is now a server option, hope it includes vehicle auto-repair. They need to do the same with 3d spotting so a hardcore mode won't be needed :fullofwin: |
OMG JIZZ |
^^ :sweetjesus::sweetjesus::sweetjesus: |

JIZZED indeed. I don't really want to be playing this game on low/med settings :( I want to run this on max! My wallet :( it cries |
I think is better to just buy a better single video card. SLI/Crossfiring is mostly for people who wants EVEN MORE. OR Alternatively, ie. you found a great price on mid end cards and buy 2 to achieve a similiar or greater performance than a high end one Debating if I should upgrade some parts or not! i really want to run this game in max settings. what do i need to upgrade in my build? my current build: Asus Maximus Gene III mobo core i5 760 sapphire radeon 6850 (crossfire) corsair 750w psu 8gb ram |
You should be close... videocard upgrade is what I'm thinking you'll need if at all. |
That night time ops looks so sick. CoD: MW3 is screwed. |

no, was just thinking cpu/mobo + ram only!! Just got the 570 earlier this year. dont have to play everything in ultra.. just high is fine..! |
is a 560TI the best card to get 250$ and under |

they both perform differently depending on game since lots of things to consider (shaders etc.) you know those shit ahha u know more than me if you will be running 3 monitors, get the 6950 if not, get whichever is cheaper |
560Ti wins out for BF3, I think... EA games are usually NVidia optimized. |
