I am curious to know as well. I am thinking about preordering with a US address and hope that they will let me play the beta?

Anyone have any better ideas or does anyone know if my method will work? Maybe they'll ban ips from outside the US?

Was there a specific type of CPU/Video Card that everyone had to get or they could choose anything? I wonder how many others are interested in this.
