lol, most likely typed it wrong. He probably meant
Desk for falling objects.
Doorframe for collapsing roof.

I think there's definitely pros and cons to both, and sometimes it can just
depend on your environment and building strength.

Experts all say a sturdy desk is better.
Although no one should be moving around,
some one might be panicking and come running through whatever door way you're standing at. Doors could swing and close, and through the event, you
might accidentally place your fingers in the wrong place and get them clamped. And bottom line is that it doesn't really protect you from falling objects that might get thrown around.

If your building is adequate from collapsing, then there's really no need to be
by the door frame.

Btw, found this online. lol

Not sure how sturdy this door is though... Many interior doors are hollow.

HC529: While this looks scary that is really normal. After the Christchurch earthquakes not too long ago they had over 30 'aftershocks' many of which were in the 5-6 range as well.

Isn't Vancouver Island protecting us from any Tsunami's ??

There are earthquakes everywhere on Planet Earth. Most of them are not noticeable by human/ or do any damage to property.
