I can only guess that the US model received the ICS update first. Asus will probably follow up with a CDN release 1-2 weeks afterwards.

yeah my thoughts exactly... Canada always lags behind (probably cause of the french they gotta put in...) :rukidding:quebec

i bought mine at staples.ca within the first month of release and i could get the update the update the first night it came out. there is no canadian/us version. we all have the us version. you should be able to get it if you have a 100% stock tf101. go to settings and then "check for update".

take at look at the build version it's on right now does it start with US? or WW?

Is any one else's kind of buggy after the ICS update? Mine seems to shut off after not using it for a couple days. Randomly reboots once in a while too.

A factory reset will fix all the bugs, and speed it up. I highly suggest it.

fuuuuu lose all my apps and save data? I'll deal with the bugs then.

Beside Memory Express / NCIX, anywhere else that sells the OEM TF101 Sleeve?

http://media.tecca.com/2011/11/12/as...image-320w.jpg

$39.99 + tax at those two places is kinda steep :okay:

dont get it i got it and it doesnt hold the tablet properly after alot of use.

Sky_High 03-23-2012 05:17 PM

^ What you recommend then? I heard the con of the oem one is you can't access the charging port without taking it out.

But from reviews...everyone say it holds a lot better + tighter than those aftermarket ones using those "fake leather." Looking for a case to store just the tablet itself. Not the whole netbook / not those zipper cases.

mk1freak 03-23-2012 05:21 PM

you still can access it just you have to fold the cover over to the back, pick up a leather folio off ebay since they're sturdier.

Got a TF201. need a keyboard dock. Suggestions no one in canada apparently has any in stock. Anyone have a secret stash some where?

dyan 03-25-2012 06:35 PM

Debating between tf101 and tf 201..

As said above.. theres no stock for tf 201 keyboards. So debating picking up a 101 at the end of this week.

!MiKrofT 03-25-2012 10:37 PM

Why buy the older model though. Just get the tablet first and wait for the dock. I picked mine up from bestbuy us cause I wanted the usdm keyboard layout.

dyan 03-25-2012 10:51 PM

It's not just that.. heard there is build issues with the prime and problems with the GPS/wifi.

!MiKrofT 03-26-2012 09:49 AM

No problems with mine. Yes GPS doesnt work well but most dont even use the GPS.

dyan 03-26-2012 09:58 AM

Thats true, but with the aluminum backplate.. Wifi doesnt work that well too..

I guess it will vary with the device you get.. gonna try my luck this weekend :D

!MiKrofT 03-26-2012 10:21 AM

Possibly. But after using the prime I couldn't even compare it with the previous one.
