I've heard from multiple reporters on the TEAM and TSN that the NHL is trying to go more by timezones, with 4 divisions in 2 conferences (2 divisions would have 7 teams, 2 with 8), with 10 teams making the playoffs from each conference.

Pacific: Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, San Jose, LA, Anaheim, Phoenix.
Central: Winnipeg, Minnesota, Chicago, St. Louis, Nashville, Columbus, Dallas.

Not sure where Colorado would go.

Northeast: Detroit, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Boston, Buffalo, +1 team from the "Atlantic/Southeast".
Atlantic/Southeast?: Washington, NYR, NYI, New Jersey, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Carolina, Tampa, Florida.

They are even floating the idea of a all Canadian division which would be stupid for travel and time zones. It would also get rid of some good rivalries.

Apparently when mayray and manny do signings you're only allowed 1 autograph from either mayray or manny only. You're not allowed both autographs from both players which is retarded
