Are the iPhone 4s from Rogers locked to them only? Or will they all be unlocked in Canada?

It will be the same as the 4. If you're buying at a subsidized price it will be locked to your network regardless if you buy it from Rogers or Apple. If you buy it outright FROM Apple directly then it'll be unlocked.

Apple seriously needs to let you permanently delete old App purchases. I've got so damn many trials, free versions, garbage apps and kids Apps that don't get used and they clutter up iTunes.

Making old purchases available is great for music, but sucks for Apps.

Agreed. Same with iBooks. When I first tested iBooks out, I download some free erotic novel. I don't want that in my history lol.

Is it true USA won't get unlocked phones until November? If so, it'd be a pretty good market to sell to no?

Yes, in mid Nov, the cost for an unlocked 4S should drop like $200.

U can. It's in iTunes under library->apps then u right click delete the ones u want to delete. U don't delete from the device itself

I'm having trouble recovering the proper versions of my songs from iCloud. Like I said before, some songs I bought in 2005 were downloaded from iCloud as the incorrect "clean" versions. But when I go into account history and "report a problem" nothing happens :okay:

Edit: NM found it. Have to report each one individually

That won't permanently remove Apps. I already asked Apple Support about this and they don't have a way to get rid of old purchases yet.

You can also hide old purchase in iTunes, and after your phone is updated they're hidden there as well. If Apple can let you hide apps, why not go a little further and simply remove them?

Similarly, if I download a free trial and then the paid version, what's the point of keeping the trial? It should automatically delete upon purchase of the paid version (or get converted to the full version). I don't need two copies of the same App in my library. I also don't need my FIFA 2010 World Cup App anymore since, well, it's over. Along with other time sensitive event apps.

Seems like a little simple housekeeping could really tidy things up for people.

Question: If I buy an iphone4s off of the apple.ca website, it says that its $649 + tax so I am looking at around $740. Would I be able to use it in Hong Kong? Is it unlocked from Apple?
