I've been supplying first batch of iPhones/iPad in small quantities for Sin Tat since the first iPhone.

my gf is flying back on the 14th afternoon flight to hk. and I've secured her about 20 units to bring back LOL

Upgraded to iOS 5 on my iPhone 4 today. None of the updates seem that outstanding, having come from a jailbroken device. Texting font was cleared up a little. :D

How did you upgrade to ios 5? It's not even out yet, is it? I just tried check for updates and 4.3.5 is current version.

Interesting read...It makes a few valid points but inevitably the iPhone screen size will be increased and it will be a vast improvement from the current build.

Clearly written by someone who has never actually used a 4+" device day to day. Either that or they have tiny stumpy fingers.

Why in the living fuck would you want to use google maps with one hand? What makes it an incredible app is all the pinch gestures it supports. Or are those only in the Android version?

Like I said before, 3.5" is too small. Anything over 4.3" is probably too big, with 4-4.2 being the sweet spot for usefulness.

If iPhone 5 has anything smaller than a 4" screen, it will be a huge letdown.

You know, usually people will quote something someone said, and then post a reply to their comment. You should have found a post where I said the current screen was OK and it would be bad to increase it (in fact, in the very first post at the start of this thread I stated it "would kinda suck" if they kept the same screen size). Then you might have a point. Now all you're left with is a poor attempt at trolling.

I used it in the context like a rhetorical question. Of course I knew it was going to sell like hotcakes just like how the 3GS did.

But relax, I wasn't criticizing anything. Just pointing out the fact that 'polls' or studies mean nothing.

I don't understand the "awkwardness" argument. It's like getting a new keyboard...it's awkward AT FIRST because you're not used to it. 2 days later, it becomes the best keyboard you've ever used. I'm using a 4.3" screen and even if I wanted to use just one hand, I can touch all 4 corners of my phone with my thumb. The article implies that you cannot.

Evidently, manufacturers don't expect users to use their devices with just ONE hand otherwise features such as pinch to zoom and Samsungs touch to pan/tilt features wouldn't exist.

I think 4 inches would be good enough for the next iPhone, staying at 3.5 would be absurd though.
