2x in HK is a must for the first 1-2 weeks. Sin Tat mall already says $10,000 for the first lot guarantee delivery on 15 Oct, but mainlanders are not stupid as before, like the ipad2, they have already setup connections in oversea for direct shippment, several Taobao pages already claims it is directly from US and ready for pick up the next day. I hope Sin Tat price can maintain a lot longer.

No way Sin Tat is owned by 3, 4 owners or one large group. I was saying the same thing before knowing someone who has worked there for many years. For sure some stores are owned by people with triad background, but they don't work as a group or have no control to the cellphone market price. They are running a legit business to make a living.

Definitely you get 15K, but at least 50 of those RMB hundred dollar bills will be counterfeit bills. LOL. There are stores that will have someone to go to the nearest bank you prefer to do transaction, but it's still scary business. I tried once after iphone4 was launched and would never do it again.

I got bored and updated to iOS5 GM version.

You don't need a dev account or anything and there is no tricks needed to do it at all.

Just download the ispw, install itunes 10.5 beta 7, put your phone in recovery mode, and shift+click restore and select the ispw and done!

iCloud works too.

the thing i don't like about iMessage is that you can't choose to send a sms over iMessage.

Correct. Wifi is always priority over data.

I have 2500 texts a month and only 500mb. I would much rather use text first if I could.

hmm i noticed that there are problems between ios 5 and cydia apps. springboard always crashes and goes into safe mode. is it just my iphone or is the jailbreak not fully ready yet for ios 5?
