Nope, you just run redsnow to install cydia on. I just updated to 5.0.1 with the semi-tethered and it's not that bad. The biggest worry was that I couldn't use my phone to call people or text incase of emergencies had it turned off. As long as it restarts in a sort of "windows safe mode" until I get home, don't really even care if they never release an untethered.

Has the sbsettings toggles hidden at the top of the notification center (have to pull down to reveal them) and a cleaner looking quick reply and quick compose (a tiny button on the bottom right of the notification center) than bitesms.

Only problem is it kinda lags sometimes. Hopefully it'll get better. But I say this is a a must have.

Hey guys sorry it took so long. My friend and I were planning on making an app out of this but it kinda fell through (for the mean time. And don't worry, whether we charge or not, I was gonna ensure it's free to rs members).

Anyways since it's not happening as of right now I'll share the meme faces with you guys as promised.

There are already some meme apps out there but mine are formatted in such a way that they aren't too small to be unreadable but not too big that they lose the "emoticon" feel to it.

I tried to get rid of a lot of useless white spaces to keep them smaller looking...

Since the resolution on the 3G/3Gs is different from the 4/4s, I made two different versions of each.

Basically to use these meme's you have to sync your phone with the Meme Folder in iTunes so they show up as a album in your Photo app. Then during a conversation you just have to click the little photo button next to the speech bubble and select the emoticon (no need to leave the app to get the emoticons).

Now these can be used in any app (as they are just pictures afterall) but I optimized them to look perfectly right for SMS/iMessage on the iPhone.

It is done in MS Paint only and took me awhile since I'm not an artist.

Some of you may not get the joke unless you are a Street Fighter/Tekken fan. Basically:
- it's a parody on the famous quote "In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king"
- In Tekken, no characters can shoot projectiles.
- In Street Fighter, Dan Hibiki (the guy in pink) was created as a JOKE character who was meant to suck and be hilariously bad. His fireball barely reaches half screen.


Anyways I would really appreciate it if you guys can help me out but either way, I do hope you guys enjoy the meme icons and I'll try to add more to it!

Everything I've found is all tutorials written from last year. Gf is unlocked with ultrasn0w and would like to keep her unlock.

n00b, use sn0wbreeze to preserve the baseband. Then update to 5.0.1 with the custom ISPW. Then jailbreak with redsn0w.

By the way, I've been buying my apps and shit for the longest time ever since OS5 came out.. Can't even be bothered to jailbreak my iPhone now :fuckthatshit:

you kno what's annoying about iMessage? When you have a friend who had switched from and iPhone to another phone (galaxy nexus in this case), but your iPhone still detects them as an iMessage user. It would send as an iMessage before realizing they aren't on iMessage and send as a regular text. It does this for EVERY message. Each message sent takes like 20 seconds to send.

that's what i thought before i forgot how great bitesms was. it's even better now that they updated it to work with iOS5.

My set up is having SBSettings and the Multitasking tray in top of the Notification Center.

If you wanna spend money on a jailbroken tweak then i HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend IntelliscreenX.
