Yeah it's just another flight of stairs down but otherwise pretty much the same layout as P1 (no doors). I believe the shopping cart ramp extends down to P2 from P1 as well if you have a cart and want to avoid the elevator.

I don't have much to buy at Costco so I carry a duffle bag me and take the stairs - I'm usually in and out within 15-20 minutes on weekday evenings.

Nah brah, usually those concrete parkades have the nastiest doors, even worse when they have those round knobs you have to fist to open. And the stairwells smell like piss lol. Glad this is not the case here.

RabidRat 05-09-2025 09:34 AM

I too, am a proud germaphobe.

I use my sleeves to enshroud my hands to turn those door knobs. For all I know, somebody'd impaled their butthole on that thing. I ain't touching that!

red kryptonite 05-09-2025 10:27 AM

But then you’re just walking around with butthole juice on ur sleeves

- A slightly higher pH soap for the foam cannon pre-soak
- Clay bar kit
- Cutting polish and/or scratch remover for the paint imperfectiion
- Finishing wax/sealant
- 7 inch pads for my Amazon no-name brand rotary polisher

The key is valued priced, don't want to break the bank, and forgiving for the DIYer, but not so bad quality that it leaves behind residue or some shit.

Thanks!

Thanks to everyone's advice, I stocked up on supplies this week. Feeling pretty good about this mix of supplies that provide a lot of value at lower prices and also forgiving in nature for the DIYer.

- Koch Chemie active foam for my foam cannon
- Chemical guys orange and white pads for my Amazon rotary polisher (etoolab)
- Meguiars ultimate compound, ultimate polish, clay bars, quik detailer, interior cleaner, and spray ceramix wax.

Heads up: Meguiars products are on sale this week at Canadian Tire, 20% pretty much all of it. Saved about $40 by stocking up now on various products.

I hate it when there's no paper towels and/or no trash can beside the door. Washing my hands and then touching a dirty ass door knob defeats the whole purpose. If the trash can is far away from the door when I exit, I'm hucking that paper towel towards the garbage bin on my way out.

same. that's why I just throw those used paper towels all over the floor on my way out. screw you for not having a garbage bin nearby. NOW CLEAN IT UP.

RabidRat 05-10-2025 06:56 PM

Yeah hi, it's me again with the sleeve trick.

People say it looks a little deranged when they're walking by, when they hear the grunting and the struggilng as the door jerks a couple of times from a short series of sleeve-yanks, trying to get it open a crack.

Then suddenly, BOOM! an arm violently punches through the door crack, hand madly writhing and feeling around. HEAVES the door open with a bang, and there's a sweaty man just breathing so hard, having managed to escape without touching that handle.

I'll tell you why I love Costco. They have no doors on their washrooms.

spoon.ek9 05-10-2025 07:09 PM

what sickens me the most is people who, in this day and age, STILL don't wash their hands after going to the washroom.

red kryptonite 05-10-2025 08:56 PM

^^ HAHAHA reminds me of this one time i was washing my hands at the gym and this dude comes out of the toilet stall (which was behind the sinks) and walks right out. i didnt say anything at the moment but right when i saw him join his friends (girls) i couldnt help but to call him out "dude, u should really wash ur hands after taking a huge dump". he was lost for words and turned bright red and ran back to the washroom and the girls and i just stood there awkwardly.
