Turns out keyboards is a whole thing. I thought mechanical keyboards was the thing, but apparently that's old tech and it's now Hall Effect. But I hear even that's old tech now and it's actually TMR keyboards. Then there's like a whole thing about the case, keycaps, switches, ugh.

Just give me a damn thing that works that's $50 max.

Dude keyboards have been a thing for a long time. I've been using mechanicals since 10 years ago.

Mechanical KB feels great, unless someone else at the office is the one using it. And then it is just a loud cacophony of clacks going off in random bursts. FailFish

I'm also 100% sure le wifey will kill me if I were to use a mechanical KB after our kid has gone to bed LOL~

Oh man, when I went to Pune, India, and I was talking to a bunch of IT folks at a tech campus, one of their managers asked where I learned English. I was like, Ummm...Canada? He said to me my English was strange. I was like, WUT?

Couple of things,
1) Indians learn British English, so we definitely sound different from them
2) Indians in India are apparently very racist. Doesn't help that there's already like 4 groups inside the country. There was a video on Youtube of Indians with thick accents making fun of the Chinese accent, it was sad and funny and kind of rage inducing at the same time.

God i hate xmas shopping, last 4 years i was out of country, it was great, no xmas presents from family, no shopping needed for them either

What i do for close friends / family / (bdays) is i pay attention to shit they want / they try to find throughout the year / stuff they complain about. I make notes on my phone, and buy that shit months in advance.
No last minute gift cards, booze, or chocolate. Epic gifts come out of it sometimes.

It is for a school project. :D
