We aren’t Japan though.
Canadian culture isn’t about increasing efficiency, it’s about cost cutting.
Hell even 7/11 in Japan has bomb food.

I was trying to go last month, but I just couldn't make the tetris block swaps for childcare and extracurricular activities for the kiddo to work out, so I didn't end up going. :(

I love it, so much better than Mission.

A friend is running a Aug 30th on. I can't make it, but heads up if you want to try and shuffle things around....

It was definitely awesome as a time trial sort of setup. I'd imagine it'd be really hard to pass if you tried to run a race there. The variety of corners and the elevation makes it a very fun track. T1-2-3 was terrifying and took me until the 4th session to get really comfortable with it.

I got a ride in a 991 Turbo S on CRS, and holy shit it does things that I simply cannot fathom.

+1 - same with Mission Impossible 8.

I don't understand those that say they will wait for it to come out on video so that they can enjoy it on their home theatre. Unless you are a cinephile with a purpose-built HT in a dedicated space, your average HT "setup" is gonna be crap compared to even a basic theatre screening.

Sooooo....was washing my car today and noticed that one of my lug nuts on my front right wheel is gone. I checked all the other lug nuts and they're all properly tight (90lbs). What do you figure happened to it? Just unlucky and worked itself loose or it blew up and fell off?

Anyways I gotta shop for a new set of lug nuts - I was using red acorn spline drive ones - besides Amazon where do you shop for aftermarket lug nuts?

westopher 07-02-2025 12:44 PM

Any tire store. R/T tires in Surrey is the best for that stuff.

Support your local tuner shop. I got my Mutekis from Overdrive.

These red Tejimas look promising - on sale for only $70.

They have Mishimotos for $120 but I think they're too long (https://overdriveautotuning.com/coll...=8012702973996)

No one can figure out the mystery of where supafamous nutted

spoon.ek9 07-02-2025 06:59 PM

Need a set that includes locking nuts unfortunately. Gotta protect dem TE37's.

roastpuff 07-02-2025 07:11 PM

Would not buy aluminium lug nuts. Steel is best as it can take more abuse.

And add 25 grams of unsprung mass?! You crazy.

underscore 07-02-2025 08:19 PM

I need to go through and get rid of some of my lug nuts, somehow I've ended up with like 10 extra sets. I'm pretty sure I even have a set of red ones that I used all of once if you need 12x1.5

spoon.ek9 07-02-2025 08:35 PM

yup, 12x1.5 for my Hondas. lmk!

FYI:

Operations are back to normal after multiple Canadian airports faced bomb threats on Thursday morning that grounded flights and were expected to cause widespread delays, according to air traffic control manager Nav Canada.

In a statement posted to X at 11 a.m. ET, Nav Canada commended its employees and law enforcement for their swift response and said airport delays might still occur.

"In the interest of security protocols, we cannot disclose the specific nature of the threat. However, we will continue to work closely with authorities as the investigation progresses," Nav Canada wrote.

Hours earlier, Nav Canada had posted that it was "made aware of bomb threats affecting facilities in Ottawa, Montreal, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Calgary and Vancouver."

"Employees at impacted locations are safe, and a temporary ground stop has been implemented at the affected airports," it wrote around 8:30 a.m. ET.

RCMP at the Winnipeg Richardson International Airport received a bomb threat at around 6:05 a.m. CT, RCMP told CBC News in a written statement.

"The phone call stated there was a bomb in the control tower," an RCMP spokesperson said. "Officers conducted a physical search of the tower and no suspicious items were located."

In Vancouver, RCMP told CBC News the threat there had been a "false report."

Richmond RCMP received a report of a threat at the Vancouver International Airport's Nav Canada air traffic control tower at approximately 2 a.m. PT, spokesperson Cpl. Melissa Lui said in a written statement.

This guy is a massive glutton for punishment. The cars in Canada and he was to get it back to the states so you know what that means.

Spoiler!

Selling a vehicle for 10-12k, what’s the best way to take payment?

Do people do bank drafts for that amount or cash is still ok?
