Anyone here been to Philadelphia? Heading there for a business trip for a week. Open to any suggestions/recommendations for coffee, sights, and scenery. Thanks!

Was there last September, mostly in Old Town and Center City. Check out the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall (book ahead) and go see Benjamin Franklin rolling in his grave. City Hall is pretty impressive. The Rocky steps is popular but didn't make it there it was a pain getting there by transit.
Cheesesteaks people have very strong opinions about but I don't think you can go wrong anywhere. Reading Terminal market is their version of Granville Island if you want more food. If you're interested I can dig up where I went to get some Georgian and Venezuelan food - stuff you can't find easily in Vancouver, but you can probaly get easier in Toronto?
Actually I got it all pinned on Google Maps:
Talula's Garden
Sakartvelo
Puyero Venezuelan Flavor
Sonny's Famous Steaks

"i only want chinese food" -
Joking aside, thanks for the leads.
I'm curious where you tried the cheesesteak sandwich? This is a work trip so I won't have a tremendous amount of time to play tourist. I'll have to maximize every opportunity I have to myself after business hours.

Their Chinatown is surprisingly vibrant and even less crack-heady than ours!
Sonny's Steaks since it was in Old Town, I only had it once. There's that famous rivalry between Ginos and Pats but locals say both of them suck, so I didn't venture down that way.

I'm thankful my workplace firewall blocked anything related to those two search terms.
Or am I going to get fired?

Lots of sports in Philly, you should go to a game of some sort.
If your trip is in September you could do an Eagles game, or Phillies.

I have learned a lot more about supafamous this week than compared to all the years he's been on RevScene.
From Cactus Club girls and his..."preferences." Yeah....
Re: Travel dates - Just found out I'm there next week. Which days - unsure at this point. Will book travel tomorrow.

Received a parking ticket at a Diamond run parking lot. $80.00 if I pay now or $160.00 if past ten days. Pay or ignore?

They'll send you a few scary looking letters and have Wiggins call you. You can block their number and they'll go away. My last straw with them was when we were in ER and we got a ticket because we couldn't renew in time while getting tests done, I will never pay for parking tickets with these places.
