Hi does anyone know of any easier PSYC classes? I took 102 but I feel like it was a waste of time because of how much work I had to put in for being a "GPA booster" class (I definitely wouldn't call it that). Are there any other PSYC classes that I can take, which aren't that much work and are easier to do well in? I need PSYC as a prereq for a program I'm applying to. Thanks. |

You know the ones who say this one and that one are easy psyc classes are the fucking nerds who memorize the fucking textbook. My gf is one, that's how I know. |
Has anyone taken Comm 374 with sheng? Do I need to buy the textbooks and how was the class Anyone else taking EOSC 311 online? |
^Nope, haven't taken those. Has anyone taken IHHS 300 before? |

people that believe psych is easy are one or both of the following: 1. They think psych is A+ spelled backwards 2.they are aware of the extremely low class averages and are in denial to think that memorizing is easy. more specifically, that memorizing literally a fucking encyclopedia and a stack of lectures notes (to which you have to remember every single word, no scratch that. every single letter or they deduct a mark) in ridiculously condensed time frames is ALSO easy. that they will somehow end up in the minority that makes up the A demographic it would be pointless to ask for an easy psych course because the difficulty level is pretty much the same (to an extent). What I would ask though, is which prof's teaching style best suits you which again is a level-headed question because the "you" in "best suits you" shows that it is subjective to your own experience and everyone is different on the flipside, provided you are able to soak in all the material, it should not take half a brain to be able to answer the questions they ask on the tests unless you have a prof that is a real dickhead, and decides to "psyche" you out. there are a couple out there, so watch out for those. and on a positive note, i did extremely well surprisingly on my latest psych course not because i studied well. but because i inhaled the fuck out of that shit. hope this helps |
+1 I made the mistake of taking psyc course thinking it would be a GPA booster but boy was I wrong. The psyc department scales all class averages to a maximum of 73 for a GOOD class in second year. However, I do find the materials fairly interesting depending on what psyc you go into. The one course I did fairly well in was Psyc 305 I believe, It's the one about animal behaviour and that's the one that doesn't really make you memorize a whole lot of technical terms but rather experiments talked in class and the implications. Highly recommend that one if you're interested |

Does anyone have or know anyone selling the textbook for CNPS 427 - introduction to counseling and guidance - Gibson & Mitchell? |
I am selling the e-book for ADHE 330 and CNPS 433. I bought it from Coursesmart last term and it still has a couple months left. Can also throw in some course material to help succeed in the course to those who purchase. |
Ugh.. I lost my iClicker. FML |
Thanks for the help guys, I guess I'll just take PSYC 101 -_- |
Akinari i got some bad news for you.... there's a ticket on your windshield Posted via RS Mobile |
Where was he parked? |
metered parking outside the sub across north parkade |
:derp: I'm a complete idiot. Forgot that I was driving the Element and paid for parking with my BMWs plate number. $30 fine. However I was parked in front of Wood earlier and I also paid with my BMWs plate number, therefore I can dispute it if I show proof that I own the BMW as well, since I have the credit card I paid for the ticket with as well. Honest mistake. Now the question is where do I go to dispute my ticket? I believe it's somewhere in the middle of the campus, where the parking services are? |
You can just grab a form at parking services, or you can do it online if I remember correctly. |
|
I'm so confused, nothing is where it's supposed to be :fuuuuu: |
