400- Is not required for certain majors especially Arts
so unless it specifically says you need X amount of 4th yr credits youre good to go.

I don't really go to UBC, but I just did my property trading services through them. I had my exam there on Tuesday. I was going a tad above the speed limit... then the part where it goes down to 50km there was a cop on the side-street with a radar gun...

Anyways... just wanted to say thanks to the Skyline that flashed his headlights to warn me about the trap (this was just before noon). Big thanks buddy.

Major in Sociology
The program requires that students complete:

Doesn't that mean you need to take at least one 400 level course? Either 400, 414 or 415? Unless SOCI 350 is 6 credits...

All in all, I strongly recommend double-checking with your advisor to see if you are eligible to graduate (if you haven't already done so). Last thing you want is delaying your grad because of 1 course. It has happened to someone I know...

Sociology 350a and B is 6 credits in total which I have taken both :)

Haha sorry to scare you. I just thought most programs have the seminar class kind of like a capstone to finish everything off.

I'm a CapU and a UBC graduate, thus I represent all thats good in the world... I come in peace.

Anyways, no i was driving towards campus to write my final. A ticket before that would of messed me up mentally.

u mean on southwest marine drive heading to ubc campus where it goes from 80 down to 50 by the tennis court and residence right?


where was ur exam that day? u should have parked at the b-lots where it is like $6 for a whole day.

i confirmed everything with Arts advising, u do not need to take any 400 level courses unless it is required by your "major". To fullfill ARts requirement, all 300 level courses count as "upper level" and are fine to take to replace all 400 level ones.

Hope this helps to anyone wondering as well :)

Not packed unless its a wednesday (during winter semester) or there are some sort of events going on

so who wants me to reveal my last and ultimate parking spot that i never ever got caught with. Its ultimate because its not UBC property so u will not get any tickets :) Parked there for a whole year and no problems at all.

whos wants to hear it? 4 mins to Buchanan and its by the new Law building.

i hate finals, too damn long and makes my finger hurt from writing too much :okay: especially an english course where u hv to write 3 essays (5 paragraphs each) in 2.5 hours :fuckthatshit:
