I gona post up the spot now, i was trying to find a pic of the place for all my UBC peeps :fullofwin: i got everything ready now |
http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...inde/coast.jpg 6055 Iona Drive Here is the place i am talking abt, you guys see the hill going down? on the right side of your screen, it is the visitors parking space which they don't really check. Even if they find you, you will just get a warning telling you not to next time. Once you get caught, drive more down the hill and there are more parking spaces that belong to VST (Vancouver School of Theology) which are not related to this apartment management. The parking spaces down there are also super save to park at. Beside the parking is just a special event lecture hall where they open up only when there are guest speakers (not all the time). That is two golden free parking spots right there :) and not many ppl know abt it |
http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...any-chapel.jpg This is what it looks like when u go down the hill, there are more parking there. Just don't park at the handi-cap spot and u are fine |
^ to enter from northwest marine drive, you have to pass Rose garden parkade, pass the hill that goes up to Buchanan and then turn right when u see "chancellor blvd" or something |
http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i.../Standrews.jpg this is St andrews hall parking. They rent out parking spots for $80/month and for short term drop off (paper or assignments for class) its also a free parking spot This is on walter gage road near north parkade and the new Law building, this is also not runned by UBC parking so no tickets for sure |

Gota make use of ur drama 8 skills yo! |
^ at least u got away with free parking for a while, as I was saying above, u can park farther down. That area is not runned by the apartment mamanagement and I never gotten caught there :fullofwin: |
^lmao for like a month. I also tried parking at the apartment next to 6055, but then i got a paper saying if i parked there again they gunna tow me. Retarded thing is I was actually visiting my friend that lives there at that time, but they just assumed i was going to ubc ==; There's also 2hr free parking along Theology Hall, which is right next to Iona Drive. They check rather frequent to make sure you're within the 2 hr limit, but if u leave before then they don't bug you..at least in my experience. |
Awesome stuff, hoping only RS members can view the posts. |

If u guys know what u are doing and play around with the spots, u can easily get away with 3 months of free parking which saves u around $300. I never had any problems when i park there and i will always pretend to call someone while looking at the building to pretend i was actually a "visitor" |

and nice parking spots, I will give it a try whenever I need. Although whenever I happen to not be commuting to school, I just park at my friends house right across the ubc bus loop =P |
