:sweetjesus:

No word about honeycomb or not, but will have Ice Cream Sandwich by end of year.

Szeto 10-19-2011 11:11 PM

about time pic shows up....but it looks just like Asus' ultrabook line... not digging it. The current transformer looks much better.

Sky_High 10-19-2011 11:34 PM

I like the idea of it being thinner + lighter to complete with iPad 2's weight + dimension.

But not quite feeling the metal casing. Just look at all those fingerprints...

14.5 hour battery? Damn I wonder if that's with or without the docking station.

t8v6 10-19-2011 11:37 PM

personally i like the metal design. glad i held out on the first transfomer for this one.

skyz 10-20-2011 03:40 AM

the metal design looks solid, i like it alot

RacePace 10-20-2011 07:23 AM

The name itself makes this appealing

twitchyzero 10-20-2011 08:00 AM

14.5 hour is probably with the dock...since the original runs about 12 hours on dock

striderblade 10-20-2011 08:21 AM

And i'm guessing after the prime they'll release T3 with this kind of screen or better? A man can dream

Great68 10-20-2011 09:13 AM

It looks cool, but exactly what would be the benefit a transparent screen?

bigzz786786 10-20-2011 09:22 AM

^there is no benefit, it would probably be even more distracting

back on topic...can't wait to get this tablet hybrid, gonna pre-order this when i can

Uhh.. T2 was just announced. It'll be awhile before the next Tegra processor let alone the T3 will be available. It'll also mainly be faster clock speeds. Probably 3rd qtr of 2012 for availability.

When is this gonna be released? And what price tag gonna be on it?

bigzz786786 10-20-2011 11:42 AM

^they say its only gonna be 100 more then the release price of the T1 for the tablet, but expect a price increase for the docking station too

eitherway, its worth it for a hybrid with this kind of hardware

ShadowBun 10-20-2011 12:54 PM

i guess its time to replace my laptop with this

CP.AR 10-20-2011 01:02 PM

hm... I'm actually already quite entertained with my current transformer.

Metal casing I don't think so - that's just asking for scratches and smudges.

sooo my verdict...
notsureifwant?

bigzz786786 10-20-2011 01:30 PM

^maybe there will be skins for the transformer2?

Oh I was referring to the Tegra3/Transformer 3 availability. I know the Prime will be available really soon :)

JesseBlue 10-20-2011 08:38 PM

looks really nice..i like the metal casing...if the price remains the same, they have a winner...if they increase it then it'll just be another tablet...

ShadowBun 10-20-2011 08:59 PM

this and my nexus prime <3
