finally received my box today. wo0t. sent the request in on november 14th. so let me get this straight. they send us the box via UPS but we send it out via FEDEX, right? cuz that's what the UPS lady said.

Lady at the fedex office said they've received lots of the return boxes to apple. Guess a lot of vancouverites had their 1g nanos still kickin around. lol

i got my boxes a few days ago.
both of my old 1st gen nanos are pretty messed up lol. Lets see if i can get some new ones!
sent them back. went to the UPS store, and they said they still take them (even though it says fed ex) because of some mix up or something...

i have an issue, my tracking number is UPS, my shipping label is FedEX, i sent it through fedex and they didn't give me a tracking number
how am i going to know if my item has been delivered to apple? it says on the apple website "empty box shipped" i sent it out a week ago

Nope no reciept, I asked them "don't I get a reciept or tracking number?" the lady said no, the tracking number is on the reciept of the shipping box (customer copy) when I checked at home it only said " delivered to residential address" which was my address Posted via RS Mobile | |

Which location did you drop it off at? Try calling fedex. Your name and address is on the shipping label to apple/Markham ON. Maybe they can look up your package through your address?

I made an appointment for apple to call me at 11am tomorrow, im gonna call fedex at 10 to figure it out with them.

If it helps, I dropped mine off about a week ago as well and the tracking number shows that it's been signed for at the destination, but the repair status on Apple still shows empty box shipped.

On old nanos and classic iPods there isn't much data/settings other than the music anyways. As for the music just drag and drop or sync a playlist.
