No idea why its taking some of you guys so long.
Originally sent in my request back in Dec and got my box in 2 days. Waited over a month to send the box in and when I did, got a 6th gen 8gb back within a week. Sold it 2 weeks ago for $100 (with extra headset and usb i had lying around)

I got mine ages ago. Enjoying it so much but I hate the size. It's too small compared to my old nano and the grasp on it is so minimal. Good for working out and handy but for people to like to use it leisurely it's too small IMO Posted via RS Mobile | |

I submitted my request January 4th. January 5th "A UPS shipping label has been created." Nothing since. 6 weeks and counting for UPS to pick up an empty box from Apple and send it to me?
Ill be lucky if I get the thing by Christmas.
Anyone try contacting Apple about why it takes so damn long?

maybe apple is just shipping them out as they get inventory of warranty returned 6th gens. theyre prolly just giving us refurbished ones.

mine shipped today..they recv'd my box jan 25th.
Where can I check which gen i'm getting with my serial #?
as you guys can probably tell...they are not processing them in the same order they are receiving them.

dont know if it makes a difference but i requested my box over 3 months ago when the recall was issued and recv'd it maybe 3 days later...it just took me almost 2 months to send it in because i was lazy.

just got my nano and it is a newer gen  , it reached their "repair centre" january 25th, mines up for grabs if anybody wants it, i have no use for it, $80.
