I can do 3 plate x6
4 plate x1

Grip is always the first to go. That and my calluses usually get ripped off and start bleeding if I over do it.

THIS!

Everytime someone claims A2G, I wonder:

1) is it really?
2) Are your rounding your lumbar?
3) Is it really?

The reality is that VERY few people have the ankle mobility to do A2G squats.

His back is fine.

It looks like its rounding because he's a heavier lad around the waist.

A2G squat is the only way I do my squats. I find that a2g squat uses more gluteal muscles and thigh muscles than parallel squats. Also, when doing parallel squats, I find that the knees take a lot of stress and could lead to knee injuries. Also, The weight should be on the heel of the foot at all times. This is just my opinions. The technique and form is what matters to me the most.

hey i go ymca too, when do you usually go?

anyways, today i was doing my squats at 195lbs, i put a plate, 25lbs + 5lbs, and i told him to add that, and he ended up putting a plate, 25lbs + 10lbs, did a whole set before i realized the balance was off

This is just my observation, don't jump down my throat over it. It seems like you use your back a lot in your deadlifts. How tall are you?

i was kind of wondering that too...i seem to have to use a little more "leg" for the first motion....other wise my ass needs to be way too high in the air for me to reach down to grab the bar and not round my back out...also mainly trying to keep my back flat and parallel to the ground

another question for you guys, thoughts on this? it goes againts everything else i've seen saying eyes up looking above you, chest out.....i under stand with this you still need chest out but that doesn't seem to be the main focus here. this also has a wider stance with knees flaring out, but inline with the feet
