It has
12,000kms, look at how god dam shiny these fobs are, for being 35 years old.

The major issue with this car? Previous owner took it to the mechanic, and i guess the repair estimate was not pretty. I dont blame them, i probably spent about 8hrs removing the failed NPT fitting, grinding out the remainders, then re tapping it.

Why did it take me 8 hrs to re thread a fitting? Take a look at the god dam location. Probably 4" of space infront, not to mention its in a "well". 1/8" turns with the tap x 300.

Lucky me, i didnt crack the block, and the threads came out decent.

New steel fitting went in, some
hoes, and some thread sealant for good ruck.

Next day: the car ran without overheating and gushing like niagra falls!
Rust.... oh rust.....

Only one thing to do, grind it off (as much as i can at least), chemically clean it, etch it, coat it.

God dam that stuff smelled good, think my IQ went from 28 to 25 after huffing those fumes.

The paint: well, it sure as shit did not look like a car with 12,000kms, more like 200,000kms.

There was only 1 spot of trim that was chewed away by the sun:

Engine bay was looking a little sad

Should have taken my time with the drill wire brush, hit the manifold a few times, nothing a little dirt coverup cant fix. Painted the accent, looks alot better.
I also
caked everything that was rusted with rust converter, cleaned up all plastics and polished under the hood paint.
