So since I like pointless research for useless factoids....

in 94/95 the lockout caused a 48 game season. like this year
New Jersey won the stanley cup that year
in 94/95, New Jersey's #1 goaltender Chris Terreri played his 7th season for the team. like Luongo this year
The previous year, the team split #1a/#1b goalies. like the canucks last year.
in 94/95, Chris Terreri was replaced by Martin Brodeur as the #1 goalie. like Schneider this year?

or how every team who won the president trophy two year in a row, they win the stanley cup the 2nd time
