Dunno if you're joking or not, but how is that lineup impressive? Might as well call this team the Vancouver Panthers. And you traded Ballard and still have him in the lineup. I think you meant Garrison instead.

lolwat.

That lineup is impressive. Considering we basically only trade with Florida :lol

2nd line playmaker for first shooters Kesler and Booth

Big 3rd line stud in Bjugstad

Top 4 right handed, right side dman in Gudbranson

Backup for Schneider

And Luongo's ass gone :troll:

Those trades would never happen though :okay:

Was thinking B. Mo would make a good fit on the second line till Kes gets back. But probably still pissed after last PTO.

lol god no

Why not just bring back Naslund and Bertuzzi as well? Morrison is a 4th liner on a bad team at best

!Nhan 01-09-2013 01:25 AM

having a $4 mill dman playing the #5 slot is fucking terrible imo.

Yeah I miss Marc Crawford's "goal button" where they would score at just the perfect time every game to turn the tide... such a weird era that was, three guys who weren't THAT great, tearing up the NHL.

Then other teams figured Naslund out, Bert finally started getting called for that push-away move he always did in front of the net, and Morrison... well he's Morrison...

I'll never forget G7/WCQF in 2004. That Gelina goal just killed whatever feeling I had from the Cooke goal.

Yes I was there that night... I have never seen such a reaction from so many people when Cooke scored that goal... I still remember all the people crying they were so happy

Then Jovo happened :derp:

Both Lu and Gillis WILL say the exact same thing to the press.

Until I hear it from a Press Release or what not, Luongo will be a Canuck throughout the camp and into the shortened season

This

I have a feeling (and hoping!) that he won't get dealt until the off-season or until a mind-blowing lopsided deal coming our way will be offered.

b0unce. [?] 01-09-2013 05:15 AM

Yeah gillis wont move a player unless it heavily favors him :lol

Thankfully thats the case, it sucks it takes longer but I couldnt stand all the trades that Burke did that we should of received more.

Still to this day the loudest game I've been to, the moment created the environment because everyone had given up and knew they had lost

Although I still remember the bad omen in the OT warm up where one of the Calgary players shot a puck down the ice at auld and it kinda trickled through his legs and he didnt notice, had a bad feeling after that and it came true :okay:

I was at that game and the highs and lows happened so quick it really sucked :(

Hondaracer 01-09-2013 07:28 AM

10 years later everyone was there :troll:

I was in my living room and my buddy shoryuken'ed my ceiling fan when Cooke tied it up and smashed one of the lights :lawl:

Spoon 01-09-2013 07:45 AM

Lets not forget who made that goal happen. Naslund did all the work even though he was likely recovering from a concussion still. So much heart.

Hondaracer 01-09-2013 07:54 AM

Heart and Naslund...yeaaaaaa

Toronto Maple Leafs have apparently fired Brian Burke as general manager. Working on official confirmations.
:ahwow:

Did not really see this coming, figured it would have happened long ago if anything.
