Seeing how Facebook updates their apps for Blackberry, it boggles my mind why they don't have a full fledged Instagram app in the BB App store yet. I feel that the App store alone is the biggest flaw of any Blackberry device.

Looking @ the link above, this android apk installation looks very promising. I was worried that having the option to install an android app would be useless if the app doesn't render itself appropriately for the device it's being installed on but judging from the photos, it seems to do a good job.

Instagram worthy phone. How is the build quality?

If you have ever owned a blackberry you know they are sturdy and well built. With that said I feel like this phone is the best premium phone I have ever felt.

Everything I touch from the keypad to the frame is fantastic. I have to hand it to john chen for doing such excellent work since he has became involved with blackberry. Can't wait for the next devices apparently they have a slider in the works they have locked down another patent

Honestly if you want a native experience with blackberry, there is an app called igrann which is a instagram app built from the ground up by one developer from instgrams api. With that said the feature missing is video upload which will be released soon.

BBMme 09-25-2014 05:03 PM

I recommend getting igrann pro, it's worth the $1 or $2
With one igrann you can save the pictures haha, I don't think instagram let's you? Lol made myself sound like a creep haha.

knight604 09-25-2014 06:04 PM

My pro isn't working so well..for some reason it won't load the news

BBMme 09-25-2014 07:51 PM

Mine takes a little time but it pops up eventually =p.
I just watch the BlackBerry blend demo Omg! Freaking amazing.

knight604 09-25-2014 09:11 PM

Yeah I use it daily because always near a computer and I heard you will only use it if your on 10.3.1 and only the passport and new devices will get it as z10, q10, z30 etcetc are end of life.

I heard different. Current devices will get 10.3.1 by the end of the year.

The Facebook app is blackberry made and having the amazon app store preloaded solves this "flaw". There are even ways around not having Google services which also opens up Snap.

I'm on the fence about this, my Q10 is just about done.. I just ordered an OPO (thanks TOSD) but I might buy this once i get to try it out..

Do you know if it is possible to have Google Now on BB10?

What happened to your Q10?

It has become slow as fuck, also the K button, along with some other buttons are super sensitive.

bcrdukes 09-26-2014 10:19 AM

What are you guys doing to make your Blackberry devices become "slow as fuck?"

I'm trying to do that and to no avail is it going to happen. Beside physical wear and tear, a Blackberry has never slowed down on me.

Just use it normally every day.... Recently whatsapp has been a bitch after an update. Also, I always used to get this glitch in my texts, where they would just freeze. That was fixed like two updates ago but it was still really annoying..

knight604 09-26-2014 11:18 AM

I always run leaks on my phones, on q10, was running 10.3 and it's way better than 10.2

Where were you guys last week when I needed this info! I thought 2GB Ram, Dual-Core, I would be fine! Yah it's definitely not up to par with my HTC M8 but I thought it would be sufficient.

Now I'm scared. :S

Do you think I will experience a huge downgrade from my HTC M8 or iPhone 5?

bcrdukes 09-26-2014 12:38 PM

Oh, I see. I'll make sure not to run WhatsApp. It's too mainstream anyway.

knight604 09-26-2014 01:36 PM

Yeah more wechat for you.

PiuYi 09-26-2014 02:37 PM

camera seems kinda, meh, but i'll give up awesome camera for QWERTY

....come to think of it, i'd part ways with alot of things for QWERTY (that's my mantra for bb right now)
