best phone i have ever used ... |
i just picked mine up, and i'm waiting for my unlock code.. first impressions are very good, seems like a very solid device..hoping my unlock code comes soon so i can fully test this baby out |
Heres the thing about buying 3rd party unlock codes, it voids your warrenty. IF it bought it out right from your carrier then they have to unlock it for you right away for a fee. |
i'm using the best buy warranty, so its a third party thing anyways, so i'm not too worried about it haha |

oh shit wrong thread |
About that Z30 deal, asking for a co-worker. The phone on the BB site says it's GSM unlocked only. He's on Telus, and he's been told that they're on HSPA and the phone won't work. If he buys it, is he okay to use it on their network, or will some HSPA-only capabilities be absent? He's been given mixed answers by Telus themselves. Thanks. |

But not on LTE, it uses bands (850/2100/2600 MHz). Only Bell and Rogers operate on 2600 , Telus is stuck with 1700 at the moment. |
Today is a huge day for blackberry, announcing bes12 , partnership samsung in enterprise, red passport, pre order for the classic starting today at 500cad and Bbm meetings. |
Their stock price did well today! |
how many of you are interested in the classic? Thinking about getting a passport or the classic. Currently using q10. I had a z10 before that and was really impressed with the virtual keyboard but the physical one got the win. |
The upcoming Blackberry Classic has certainly piqued my interest. I'm currently using a Z10 and while I love the phone and its features, I'm more of a traditionalist where I prefer a physical keyboard like yourself. My only real gripe with the Z10 (and most smart phones these days) is that the length is cumbersome in terms of reach (that's what she said haha!) I reckoned that my next phone was going to be a Nokia Lumia 830 but I am not hopeful of the platform's future and Microsoft's plans for device support. |
