https://i.ibb.co/b3bQC67/image.jpg Outcome: https://i.ibb.co/vvcqdV8/IMG-4577.jpg Unfortunately I didn't take a photo of the end result with the door cover removed, but I had all the cables from the rooms terminate into a patch panel (converted some telephone ports into RJ45 ports as well), then routed cables from the patch panel to the switch. I learned to do the terminations as I went so I can't gauge whether my job was good or not, but all the cables work and the cabinet no longer looks like a rats nest. It's not hard to do on your own if your current setup becomes too big of an eyesore. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00UVQI8B6 https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B079582T1Q/ For now though if you haven't already, you should label each of those cables so that it doesn't become a headache in the future. |
A thread on r/canadahousing that's gone viral: https://www.reddit.com/r/canadahousi...&utm_content=1 |
Only fans? Move to butt fuck no where? I bet she'll be making more than $40k a year |

Crazy Trudeau didn’t help ya out with yer vote hun! Kinda laugh at the idea of all land lords being this evil entity. If the govt. ever put total authority on rent control I just simply wouldn’t rent my suite out anymore. And I think that goes for a lot of people who have second properties or basement suites. I never take into account my mortgage interest increase in my decisions but as numerous articles have laid out, the costs of simply having these rental units has gone up 20-35% in maintenance, taxes, upkeep, etc. yet the govt. caps rent increases at 2%? And gives the tenant all the power? Find a major city in North America where you can live comfortably making less than 40 grand. It’s obviously a huge issue but unless the landlord is some faceless globo corp, it’s not their fault you’re in this situation, it’s govt. at every level. So buckle up babe, gonna be a rough rest of your life |
Maybe they should spend less time online/bitching on reddit... just sayin lol |
Who was asking me about my Regina property a few pages back? Previous tenants stopped paying rent in July, and just left this week on their own, after manager filed for eviction. Place was left in a "mess" whatever that means, il get pics/details and the bill soon So I'm out about 5-8k for 2-3 months of rent, clean up, re listing :fullofwin: this year is an instant write off on that property It's funny because I hear more bad tenant stories, than bad landlord stories. And now I am a part of that statistic peepoClap |
That was meeeeeeeeeeeeee both on here and whatsapp We gotta get together with hobz next week when he's back from faux francais |
I stopped at a good job that needs an education at less than 40k a year. Minimum wage is 34k a year already and most admin jobs would pay you 40k a year. You can go work as a cashier at Save ons and probably make 40k. It's not a rich life but I don't believe minimum wage is meant for one to live on in a big city. I wonder if she means high school education by edumacation. I don't have a whole lot of sympathy for her. |
I would say that the comments, rather than the video itself, are more valuable in that they're entertaining, sad, and humbling all at once. |

If your "good job" pays 40k then it's not a good job. If that job requires an education and it pays just barely above minimum wage, then you picked a shit career. Even pre-COVID, 40k was ass. So many people these days bitch about shit without looking at the root causes of their problems - themselves. |
Only fans is a good answer. Id jump on that and deliver Fantuan if I was in her situation. |
20 years ago, the lowest job you could get in the federal government was like CR-03/CR-04 data entry work and that was $43,000 a year... 20 years ago!! Those same positions pay a bit under $60k now I think. Any mofo can go to jobs.gc.ca and apply for a CR-04 rinky dink position at the fed gov and make $55k give or take if they even have half a brain and bring their own bib to catch drool. Saying you can only make $40k here is the result of numerous excuses not a factual statement. edit: it even went up after the new contract went in place, here are the 4 steps for a CR-04 (CR-03 doesn't exist anymore I think): June 21, 2024 - Wage Adjustment 57,217 58,738 60,255 61,761 I am not joking when I say CR-04 jobs at the fed gov often just involve you being able to breathe and show up every day... zero decision making involved, pure data entry, simple spreadsheet work. If you can't hack that, I don't know what can help you anymore. |

I don't think I want to see her OF even if I get paid. There's enough free shit floating around that it's not worth it. |
Just be a waitress, she has a pair of tits. I just talked to one making min wage $16.75 an hour after tax free tips she said it's more like $40 an hour. $16.75 x 37h x 52 weeks is already $32227 pre tips. :accepted: |
I doubt Cactus is going to hire her Kappa |

While Reddit is generally a sesspool of whining there’s a lot going on there which I’ve said before has penetrated into the general populous People don’t care who is in power, even if they have voted liberal in the past. Many of these people are laying the blame squarely at the govt. feet and are ready to vote for change. As I’ve said before, when things are as bad as they are, what have you got to lose. Bye bye Justin, shit ain’t gonna change but at least we don’t have to see you anymore :chairdance: |
I'm not necessarily commenting on the girl in the video. But I will say that in general there are a lot of people who, for whatever reason, can't work a job that pays more than minimum wage or slightly higher. Everyone has different life circumstances, and not everyone is born into a family that financially supports them from cradle to grave. Or maybe they have disabilities, etc etc. Right now, that segment of society is being left out in the cold. The higher cost of housing in our cities is hurting a lot of people while salaries/support payments aren't even close to keeping up. There are lots of people you can point a finger at and say "work harder" but let's also remember that not everyone has that option. |
That Reddit thread reminds me of r/antiwork. Able-bodied, but not able-minded. I'll never forget the dog-walker mod. |
Antiwork sub is a free clown show, 365 days of the year |
People can say that you don't deserve to live in a city with a 40k job, but what do you want? No fast food? No coffee shops? No grocery stores? Is that your idea of a fucking functional place to live? No maybe they shouldn't be able to have some amazing place, but they should be able to exist, otherwise you fucking better be advocating for better wages for the people that do these jobs. If you aren't one or the other, you don't understand shit about fuck when it comes to what actually goes into YOUR life being livable. |
That’s what the TFW are for bro |
5 EI's in a one bedroom basement suite is definitely the way out of this mess |
They do a mean McGriddle |
