Must actually be pretty useful to have those tracks in the floor, as a sort of positioning guide. Do the grooves even kinda pull the car into place?

JDMDreams 05-27-2025 02:42 PM

They redirect the leaking oil and coolant from your garage??? Profit

Harvey Specter 05-27-2025 07:49 PM

I would kill for a flat, 2 car garage. I have 4 car garage which is on a slope so I have to park my car on the single car garage side, and there's still a slight slope I have to be careful with. Even with the lift up, I feel like I'm going to scrape the front.

Those tracks are stupid. They are both lifted approx 0.5" vs the other areas. Meaning you cant roll shit across the floor smoothly. My neighbor has the same tracks, the concrete guys were smoking meth when they poured decades ago for sure.
They dont guide fuck all.

Next time you guys see this garage is going to be in the "what did you do to your house" thread.

That's how you flex:

-4 car garage
-widest single car garage I've ever seen
-garage has minimal clutter/junk in it, unlike most people
-did I mention, a Lambo Revuelto?

Edit: Do you utilize private banking? :p

JDMDreams 05-28-2025 09:43 AM

You can take your boy out the hood but you can't take the hood out the homie

Badhobz 05-28-2025 10:00 AM

Harvey’s mad balling. Hehe stuffs 50k cash in a single envelope while Harvey just sticks that up his maids ass or snort it off his ivory table.

Now I'm thinking if you are that yellow Lambo that randomly shows up in my area to pick up kids from the school

Right? I always see it from time to time

Redflag deals post on Belvedere condos in Surrey 25% off sale. Lots more inventory nearing completion and lots of resale inventory. People that were expecting to flip these are going to have to hold and rent out or take a loss.

JDMDreams 05-31-2025 06:27 PM

I saw that too but they overpriced it in the beginning. 3xx sq for like $450? And they priced it back down to like $380? Which is around $1000sq

westopher 05-31-2025 08:50 PM

The ad says places as low as like 768/sq ft.
Still seems like that's what they should be for Surrey but I'm out of touch when it comes to pricing of the other burbs other than like burnaby or poco.

Mine's nowhere as cool as your description, but I concur. I've got enough parking to comfortably fit 7 cars on my property, but it's on an extreme slope - Donk's been to my place.. it's cursed.

I scrape the front lip getting in/out of the garage .. stock height. I rmb when one of the guys in Type R chat asked if I wanted to buy their body kit and I told them I would never make it in. Guy ended up visiting me with his work truck and was like... oh I see the problem LOL

Harvey Specter 06-01-2025 09:52 AM

It's funny how you start noticing even minor slopes when you have a low car. The Revuelto, even with the lift up, still scrapes so it's a pain to drive but no issues with the Urus lol.

The worst, though, is dealing with unpaved alleys plenty of those on the west side or speed bumps that the city places in front of garages.

^drives me nuts. Friggin Vancouver, especially on the west side where you’re paying insane property taxes and housing money, all the roads are basically the same as 3rd world countries. . I’m sure even those guys probably have better roads than us.

EvoFire 06-01-2025 01:21 PM

So I came across a "dream house" for myself when we were house shopping, on the west side. House was absolutely perfect, 2 car garage and a parking pad next to it.

I went to check out the house, and my fucking god the alley was completely rutted.

I grew up in Vancouver and Richmond and later moved to New Westminster and now Port Coquitlam. I think Port Coquitlam particularly Citadel Heights is a bit of a hidden gem with lots young families and parks and green space and close to elementary schools and middle schools.

Houses and townhouses are 10% to 20% cheaper than Burnaby and Coquitlam and because it is right off the Mary Hill Bypass I can drive to downtown Vancouver when it is not rush hour in about 35 minutes. If I lived in Westwood Plateau or Burke Mountain I would probably have to add at least 15 or 20 minutes driving time to get to Vancouver. If I want to go to the Braid skytrain station I can walk 3 minutes to the bus stop and take a 30 minute bus ride to Braid.

I believe there is another revscene member that also lives in Citadel Heights.

westopher 06-01-2025 03:41 PM

A friend of mine moved to poco and I never would have known about how nice it was if he didn't. Beautiful house at probably 20% less than Burnaby, and it's way nicer than Burnaby as well. Seems like a great place to have a family.

Do you know anything about that garage door? I'm looking for something that's flush against the ceiling like that. Right now the garage door is mounted at 8' with extensions but the actual ceiling is 10'

I could lift up my car another 2' with that kind of door.

SSM_DC5 06-01-2025 06:16 PM

Rollup door is another option if you want the clearance
