On top of that, those same companies create 'ghost jobs' so they can tell the government 'hey look, here's our job postings, no one's applying!' while then corralling these immigrants who get grossly underpaid while delivering 100% expectations to 0% training & etiquette. That's why trying to get something as simple as footlong from Subway turns into a root canal level of pain.

And all this, while the government sits in the ivory tower, calling us 'racist' for even daring to question their garbage.

many indian coworkers I have worked with (9 out 10), slow, lazy, chitchat with their own a lot (doing it on purpose or you can say it's part of their "culture"), they would take much longer to get their stuff done, just not being productive to the team, everyone else knew about it and would just roll their eyes, blatantly use their phones a lot during working hours either scrolling or talking on the phone. I have had pleasure working with many other ethnicities (pinoy, chinese, white), most are fairly productive. Most indians I worked with were so lazy, just dragged their ass all day.

What are they really famous for in Canada? Gangs and shooting, and big loud ass parties. When it comes to real shooting and sports in general or in the olympics, they barely stepped into the podium despite their population. I blame the government and how poor the general population is.

When you look at vloggers in india, you see so many food or other vendors trying to scam for some extra $$$, this type of scamming occurs a lot less in china, and other countries in Asia.

going back to my first point, I commute daily from surrey to richmond using alex fraser and hwy 91, 99% of bad drivers I encounter are indians, left lane hoggers doing 80km/h, and reckless drivers doing 40 over the posted speed limit, tailgaters, blatant cut-offs, they are worse drivers than richmond chinese drivers.

Ok, but what are the Chinese famous for? Flooding Canada with illegal money and making it impossible for locals to buy real estate? Flooding NA with fentanyl? Running foreign interference in every election and university? Popping out kids, getting a passport, then running back to China without paying hospital bills? Claiming low income while living in multi million-dollar homes and leeching off free services while taxpayers are stuck with the bill?

I think most would argue that the Chinese have done more harm than good for Canada, and I’m sure if you ran a poll asking Canadians how they view Chinese Canadians, it would come out similar to Indians.

I don't think the majority don’t see it that way. Ask anyone why real estate is so expensive in Vancouver and the first comment is usually 'Chinese.' Relax, hold your horses. Plenty of Indians are buying and selling multi million dollar houses, selling acres in Richmond and Surrey and paying taxes, and plenty are buying exotics and paying taxes. In fact, I’ve bought 5 Lambos brand new and paid a ton of taxes. I’ve bought and sold a lot of properties and paid a ton of taxes. Everyone pays taxes, so that doesn’t make Chinese people any more special.

I don't know if you went to elementary school here but it was drilled into us at an early age that (rightly or wrongly) the railways were built with Chinese labour. If anything it's the recent Chinese immigrants have no idea of this fact.

Most Canadians today don’t care about what Chinese or Indian immigrants contributed historically, like building the railways or working in forestry. That’s stuff you’ll find in a history book and the majority of people aren’t aware of it, forgot what they learned in school or don’t care. Most opinions are shaped more by current events and what they see happening now.

All the taxes paid on the luxury items, houses, cars, etc all go directly to funding canadian institutions.

There have been analysis and commentary on how the Canadian economy is so tightly coupled to the real estate market. Whether that is a positive or a negative is highly dependent on which side you are standing on.

Further consideration is required for immigration policies including the downstream effects of housing, jobs, taxation, and what have you.

I'd say the Chinese had more of a detrimental affect in terms of the housing market in Vancouver for sure, and I'd say the common sentiments were much more negative as a result to this group, up until recently.

Indians now take the crown on the ire of the public nowadays, but I'd say for different reasons.
