I've seen a few nexus 4's on cl around $400-420. So at least it looks like there are less people looking to cash in now.

Yup, except right after I emailed someone about a 16gb for $420, he emails back saying that someone bought it off him for $520:okay:

I'm enjoying the phone far more than my Galaxy Nexus. That I will say from the get-go.

It feels nicer in the hand, has better balance, feels far more responsive, and the screen is just miles ahead, in my opinion.

Were you part of the second batch or first batch?

I made the order from the 2nd batch on Dec 3 right at noon. emailed google to check when it would be processed/shipped.

I was given a date of December 19!

seems like the dates they're giving out are the Wednesdays following whatever time frame you were initially given.

given the large amount of mail that week, i wonder if it'll actually get here before christmas >.<

where did you guys get your screen protectors?

I'm a bit flabbergasted and disappointed by the whole LG Google Nexus 4 phone launch, selling and shipping process.

Yes, I know it's a very popular phone and they are selling at at cost, discount and even losing $ per unit.

But come one you're trying to sell a flagship phone, gaining market share and you can't even anticipate or manufacture enough phones to meet the demand? 6-7, 7-8 weeks for shipping? And you can't even try to speed this up to meet demand as a gift for christmas?:failed:

It seems like just a play for Google to build up a subscription/user & credit card info base for their GooglePlay Store and they definitely have the last laugh holding on to our balls making us wait and cringe.

bumpers are back up for sale in the US store...not in Canada yet.. :(

im optimistic for this phone to arrive b4 xmas

If that's the case mine won't be shipped till Jan 2 lol

This is pretty much it. Ordered mine through my gfs account. She called for me today and asked whats taking so long.
They basically said they cant keep up with the demand. I dont recall them having this problem with the galaxy nexus though. I guess this is what happens when you pay low prices for flagship phones. You get the "we'll get to you when we get to you"

I emailed them today and got an email back with SECONDS with probably a generic response from everyone saying this:

Keep in mind I was one of the first to order (shipping within 1-2 weeks)

I was just about to post the same thing! I'm sure they data-mine your email and the order number, then send out that generic response.
