The track record with Google and accessories is fucking TERRIBLE

Can't you just use any Qi-compatible charging pad? Check out ZENS and Energizer.

do you think we can get away with free shipping for the bumper from google? I mean, I would have purchased the phone + bumper together, but due to their inability to keep a stocked store I am forced to buy them separate...

Mine got charged immediately too, but its probably a temporary charge that they will return in 1-2 days. They had to make sure your CC was good so they can continue placing your order. It says in the email that your CC won't be charged until it ships.
