anyone running the AOKP rom? im using it and it seems to have a lot of bugs... whats another good rom?
EDIT: just flashed Xylon. joquio knows his shit. followed what he did both on my note 2 and nexus 4 and LOVE IT!!

I'm gonna sell this phone when s4 comes out.. I hate the mediocre camera.

Haha yeah I'm using both phones right now. Couldn't resist cause i got a good deal for the nexus.

What do you miss about the note 2? The size or the battery? The nexus is so much more forgiving when in my hands it feels so much better and i can use it when in walking or with one hand haha. But i wish it had the battery life of the note then it would be .. Are you using any battery savers? I actually think this phone is snappier than the note 2 but maybe its just the ROM in running right now.

I'm missing the screen size, native LTE support and few novelty features such as keeping the screen on when you are looking at the screen.
But yes, like you said the Nexus 4 feels so much better in the hands.
I'm not using any battery saver apps or anything.
Although the Note II battery is a beast, the Nexus battery is adequate for me too. I'm always on LTE and with average usage I still have around 50% when I get home from work. Just use franco's r23 kernel. It does wonders to your battery life but give it a day or two to settle after you flashed it.

Franco kernel no gamma control supported yet. A big no for me since my color saturation is near perfect now

How do i install a Kernel? My battery lasts 4 hours of screen time right now and that's like half of what my note 2 lasts :(
EDIT: My nexus 4 lasted 6 hours with 2 and a half hours of screen time with the xylon rom......... :(

root first, download the kernel .zip to internal storage, boot to cwm, flash it by choosing the .zip

Xylon wasn't that popular on the GNEX, the XYLON team just got a "headstart" on the N4, thus trying to claim the throne.

It has more so to do with not giving credit where credit is due

AOKP has come in and replaced Cyanogen since the CMteam is SLOW and can't get their shit together

PA on the other hand, is very niche and isnt a product for everyone

Well as you've mentioned earlier, PA is played out. It was pretty awesome on the GNEX but I never bothered flashing it for my Nexus 7 nor my Nexus 4. I find it not as snappy as other ROMS.

PA hasn't been the same since they ditched the CM backbone and went independent

Try to leave a note on your door if you're not there. Tell them to give you a call, deliver another day, bring to a UPS store, or at least give it to a trusted neighbour.

It would be great if they delivered it a day early. It's so close, yet so far lol

Is the Nexus4 (stock) saving your guys' preference on phone numbers? I keep clicking "remember my preference" to call my gf's cell phone rather than her home, and even made her cell the "main" number. But it still keeps asking me which number to call when I click on her contact picture in frequently called. Is this a bug?
