If the back glass is your only worry, and you're saving half the cost of the phone, GET A CASE.

StylinRed 11-12-2012 09:48 PM

well its not for me lol

and the person im getting it for hates cases as much as i do

maybe i'll pick up a bumper too just in case they dont mind

does the wireless charger come with the phone or is that separate?

^ Nokia Lumia 920 for the camera and built in Nokia Map (works offline as well)
For built quality, It is hard to say since Nexus 4 isn't out but glass vs single piece polycarbonate.

Nokia also has the super sensitive screen so you can use the screen even if you wear a glove

yeah i know thats why im leaning towards the 920 even though its 2-3X more in price (2X if the rogers units are still unlocked and 3X on ebay or other shops)

i believe that wireless charging orb comes separate. its actually not small or flat like a pad.

for the glass back, as long as you take care of your phone, it shouldnt be a problem.. people have broken front screens, so they shouldnt have glass on the front too?

The other thing I like is the Pentaband support... one phone to rule them all :okay:

Looking at the pics posted by engadget. It seems there are two screws at the bottom of the phone so just from the picture I would assume it is very straight forward to open up the phone to replace the back

I get that glass is on the front too. But why risk two glass sides?

And the two screws allows you to easily remove the back plate. But the back plate has a bunch of radios, etc. So a entirely new backplate would be hella expensive. Hopefully LG and Google thought it through, and the glass portion can easily be separated from the back plate
