but if you got some hot wheels lets trade there is an extra 1 or 2 Lambo ST at the Safeway by UBC, I think the one off of 10th, but this was last week... |
1 Attachment(s) I bought the Mine's version of the Ignition R34 in Millennium Jade... just had a brief browse around and seems like it's up to $400-500 range now... which seems crazy, but puts it up there in the ultra-expensive R34 models camp I guess. |

Let me know if you bump into any trouble, ofc you have to talk to them in full Chinese lol... Their english is limited. |

Went to Walmart to buy Thomas and friends stuff for my little nephew... and the next thing i knew i was dumpster diving in the giant cardboard box they dump all the hotwheels into at the lougheed walmart. but at least i finally found a rs1600? and i always make it policy never to leave without at least a mustang (but i bought more mopars lol) :p https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...08463928_o.jpg |
ya the lougheed walmart one reloaded with some new cars. Did you dig all the way to the bottom? deciding if I should go there (mainly to get the mini NES) here's my haul from the states http://i66.tinypic.com/343iw40.jpg |
there were two bins, one almost empty and the other full. a kid was shoveling from the full to empty one trying to find the bottom. i didn't stay long enough to see what was there in the end because i was waiting for my turn at the drop in medical clinic downstairs... |
Oh god the slant nosed Porsche.... :sweetjesus::sweetjesus::sweetjesus::sweetjesus: |
The new bulls... Hi Everyone! My 1/18 Aventador SV's Kyosho Ousia's have arrived. I mentioned in my past post that I will do a review and share with you my thoughts on this model. I ordered two colours, Red and White. http://i1012.photobucket.com/albums/...psnfk2o6kl.jpg http://i1012.photobucket.com/albums/...psoxe0efel.jpg Well my first initial thoughts were WOW. These models look really nice especially the red version. Accurate shape, and it doesn't look cheap for a $99 USD car. After reviewing the Huracan's, I knew what kind of expectations I was getting. Not too high and not too low. The Panel lines are decent, and one item that really surprised me, was Kyosho actually used a mesh for the air vents for the SV. http://i1012.photobucket.com/albums/...psrl8dtiyn.jpg I thought Kyosho would cheap out by using a plastic piece that is molded to represent the grill mesh, but they didn't. Other details included are minor engine details (even though it is mostly covered up by the Carbon engine covers). http://i1012.photobucket.com/albums/...psktlatip3.jpg The carbon decals looks too scale. Kyosho even added some minor details to the side air radiators. The air vents even had a grill mesh beneath the openings. I was really impressed with these little details. http://i1012.photobucket.com/albums/...psfc0vogyt.jpg The interior is nicely done, but one thing I noticed upon further inspection was the missing paddle shifters. I double checked this with the white version, and hoping I may have received a defect. But… ohhh Kyosho… How could you miss this detail? I hope someone points this out to them…The other issue I had with my model was the QC on some areas I thought paint was applied a bit thick. The panel lines were not deep enough IE fuel cover area. But on the white model, the outlines for the fuel cover area is more apparent and deep. Again some QC issues. http://i1012.photobucket.com/albums/...psbl5dckid.jpg Same as the Huracan, the Aventador features plastic disc brakes and rotors. I still hope Kyosho will use Photo Etched parts to further enhance the look of the disc brakes, but after all this is a $99.00 USD model. Overall the wheels and brakes look very good. http://i1012.photobucket.com/albums/...psolasf01j.jpg http://i1012.photobucket.com/albums/...ps5caz0lnv.jpg Would I recommend this model? Yes, I would. It may have its deficiencies, but compared to what you can get out there for an Aventador SV, this model is bang for your buck. Note: AutoArt will release an Aventador SV, and as usually it will be detail, and will feature opening doors etc...And it will also be in composite (AutoArt for Plastic) and the street price will probably be around $250-$300 CND range. The other option is MR Collection. A very nice resin SV model that is priced around $600.00 USD on eBay. Enjoy the pics, and comments are welcomed. http://i1012.photobucket.com/albums/...psygv0dtd8.jpg http://i1012.photobucket.com/albums/...psypbjxcwt.jpg http://i1012.photobucket.com/albums/...ps2zcvsk6x.jpg http://i1012.photobucket.com/albums/...psku5pjtwy.jpg http://i1012.photobucket.com/albums/...psczqksld9.jpg Happy Collecting! Thanks, William |
Toys R US Hot Wheels Forza Exclusive Hi Everyone, Check this out! This is the Toys R Us Hot Wheels Exclusive Forza set. This is basically the Hot Wheels Forza set, only packaged in a pretty cool looking box. It was released only to Toys R Us at the beginning of November. It cost $25.00 USD, and I think it is only Toys R Us (USA only). I have not seen at any Toys R Us locally. Can someone confirm this? But, you can order it through the Toys R Us US website (limit 5 per order). I ordered it online with a Canadian billing address, and I had it shipped to Point Roberts. BTW Shipping is free. I personally liked the Forza set over the GT set. I was not too impressed the GT diecast. Enjoy the pics! And comments are welcomed... http://i1012.photobucket.com/albums/...ps0xdbfsdb.jpg Cool box art http://i1012.photobucket.com/albums/...psteri0rer.jpg Let's see what's inside... http://i1012.photobucket.com/albums/...psitmwdkrv.jpg 73' Ford Falcon XB http://i1012.photobucket.com/albums/...pskxeqdzjv.jpg 17' Ford GT http://i1012.photobucket.com/albums/...psgr7ifcna.jpg Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA http://i1012.photobucket.com/albums/...psghywfyrh.jpg 12' Camaro ZL1 Concept http://i1012.photobucket.com/albums/...psaesegcuh.jpg Lamborghini Gallardo Lp 570-4 Superleggera http://i1012.photobucket.com/albums/...psfqjsc9ar.jpg Happy Collecting! So what do you guys do with your models? Do you take them out of package? Do you un-mount them and roll them around and pretend to park them between two cars like I used to do? I pretty much just stack them against a wall now and don't do much with them. |
the cheap ones come out to play. the expensive ones stay in their display packaging or cover. |
lol... i have limited space.... so I rotate them out of packaging from time to time.... |
https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...c0&oe=588D85E2 Currently full........ along with two other full ikea glass towers......... and a wall full of unopened cars.............. :okay: |
