game's that are eligible for the $10 next gen upgrade will be specified on the cover of the game. the game will come with a code. i will most likely move my bf and cod to next gen.

I used game install as a test because level loading isn't an easily controlled test to run. A lot of information gets preloaded into memory, etc.
I doubt the PS4 will have TRIM since it wasn't created with SSD in mind. In that case, you will need to get a drive with good idle garbage collection, and one that can stand up to drive amplification well. This unfortunately leaves out drives from Samsung and Crucial which are often the cheapest
loading time is one thing, but storage capacity would be another issue. with each games taking consider amount of space, I'm thinking if i should get a 2TB drive or a 256 SSD and constantly deleting game install.
btw, the PSV TV has arrived in hk. but first testing shows that it is region locked to Japan.
canceled my amazon.ca order.....those fuckers are sending them Right on the 15th and not ahead of release date like Bestbuy.ca
i'm no way waiting that long for a 2nd ps4 that said it would show up here 20th from Ontario

Ive got a launch unit pre-ordered on amazon.com others have got shipping confirmations already but not me -_-
That's not always the case. With my previous orders (video games), I always received notifications the day of release. I've always received them on day 1 as well.

True, potentially the shipping notification could be the morning of. It's happened to me on a few occasions.
Anyways, I can't find Best Buys stupid shipping zone map right now but the closer you live to where its being shipped from, the later the shipping notification will come because really for most if not all of us, it should be same day delivery. So don't expect an email until this afternoon at the earliest and as late as tomorrow morning.
You'll read that some people got shipping notifications already in other parts of Canada but those people live farther away so it would take 2+ days to reach them. So relax, take a dep breath, and get ready for a weekend of gaming. In the event Best Buy fails us though, RS Beatdown crew at lets say the Cambie location?

WHAT? Did you call them? That said they have pretty weak customer service.
If that's really the case, I'd be calling for the manager every day. You can always tweet them (do they have twitter monitored by customer service?). I read stories on how that seems to fix things

i had a similar problem with my recent preorder of ghost at bestbuy.
i got the email confirmation that my order was placed, but the order did not exist in my online account. i called bestbuy about it and the fellow said it could be a "glitch" in the system, as he could see my order on his end. it was the weekend before release and my cc still had not been charged yet. by this time, it should be charged already. in the end, i just cancelled my preorder and took my business to eb.
this isn't the first time this had happened. i remember preordering bf3 years ago, but the same thing happened. even days after the game launched, my cc still wasn't charged. cancelled that one as well.
