PS3 is capped at BD DL 50GB...you need a drive with a better laser to read BDXL

yeah the original PS3's 90nm Cell ran so damn hot...APU should be much more efficient
all that streaming jazz was geared towards backwards compatibility or remote play...not for actual PS4 games
I dont know how well OnLive is doing in the US but I would presume one would at least need 10mbps connection to stream ps3 games

I'll probably get one of the next generation consoles in Fall 2014 (for NHL 15).

With that GPU is no where near 4K gaming.......lol
And they have to keep console at low cost. They wont use such a powerful GPU on it yet.

Even with GTX 780, the upcoming new king, it might also have hard time running most the new games in 4k.......

4K gaming console will need another 5~7 years.

Isn't the 360 still capped at 8GB/disc? Even 50GB/disc is quite impressive.

So the new PS4 specs are virtually identical to the "720". So we're just buying into exclusives and Brand nowadays. Not saying we weren't before but this time it seems more prevalent. It's like choosing between a FRS and a BRZ so to speak.

Yea M$ does have a lot of services they can integrate. I enjoy using my 360 for media instead of the PS3. Even though SmartGlass was pretty much a dud, it works well for media controls. Even better with the UFC SmartGlass app while watching a UFC event.

i think Naughty Dog mentioned in an interview they are not done the series so the chances of us seeing an Uncharted game on PS4 is very likely. Me personally I would like to see a new IP

Yeah, i honestly found xbox funner to play with friends only because of party chat, but i overall think ps3 is a much better and reliable console
