i wonder if i should preorder instore n pick it up on release day instead of waiting for the mail man to delivery it on or af release day...hmm |

That said, as much as things can go wrong with a delivery, things can go wrong in store too. I chose to ship to my work since it's more convenient and reliable for me being at work every day, but there's a chance I might not get it on launch day. |
for games FS/BB are very reliable to get your order to your door launch day morning. not sure about consoles but if you aren't home I'm sure your mailman won't just leave a $400 item at your door so you lose out a day. I think the demand for these will be strong on launch day so not sure if you can just walk in and buy one...FS/BB already stopped taking preorders. |
and most likely there will be midnight launch.. !! |
I'm gonna wait till the hype die down before I'll pick up a PS4, since there are really nothing worth playing at launch. I'm sure most of the titles that are worth playing won't be out for at least 6-8 months after launch. |

killzone looks better than titanfall imo and driveclub seems forza like and its free with PS+ Quote:
As for the E3 Game Pre-Order sale is it just me or is there no discount for FFXV? |

The only games that I could think of that I would be willing to pick it up on the first day would be GTA and Gran Turismo, and both of these titles are still coming out for PS3. PS3 launch was much different, not only it could play all my PS2 games, it was also the most affordable bluray player, all to go along with my first 1080P TV at the time. |
I've got my PC to tide me over, I never buy new electronics on release.. bugs need to be fixed always. |
manage to pre order ps4 at EB richmond centre tues morning.. i was the 4th person so the dude at the cashier said i was guaranteed to get one the day it comes out unless shipping gets delayed also couple of my friends also got a pre order from best buy, that morning before they shut it down |

I only hope that the analog is tighter. I typically play first and third person only and it's the main reason I played the 360 10 times more than my PS3. |
^ I find the 360 worse if anything IMO. Have you played with controllers that are several years old, or do you have a brand new one around? My brother and I found that after several years of heavy FPS and GT5 abuse, the analog sticks start to wear out. His was seriously sloppy, I didn't think mine was too bad until I bought a new controller for multiplayer. Try going straight from a used controller to newer one, you'll likely feel the difference. I've gone thru at least 4-5 xbox 360 controllers already. The left analog stick just keeps wearing out. But for Dual shock 3, I'm still using my original one, even all the PS3s I'm still using are the original 60GB with PS2 bc |

like CoD that binds running into R3 I think the left analog wears out fast or any QTE that requires you to spam the analog :suspicious: |

The reason I preferer the Xbox controller is I play a lot of FPS and Third Person which requires some quick and presicion aiming. I find I can control it a lot better with the 360. The PS controllers analog is a lot loose so I find I'm way less presice with the aiming. |

Sony is talking about potential publisher DRM.. looking good so far! (if you believe in corporate speak ;) personally I still think it would be smarter to wait. Especially since the PS4 will only have like 3 exclusive games at launch) Publishers bringing Xbox One-like limitations to PS4 would be 'surprising,' Sony exec says | Polygon |
NCIX has the one and ps4 up for pre-order as well PlayStation 4 Sony Playstation |
