ok so far this is what i've read through this thread to be the best way (with some minor adjustments)

- quadra is a trading platform only?
- What is the best wallet to use? how do these work, I see talk of the Nano S which I'll get as well but first i need an electronic wallet? which is best?

i know this has all been talked about but i'm very much out of my league and want to catch up quickly and FINALLY get in on this alt coin



EDIT: I've set up an Quadriga account, say i move real money into my account and buy BTC or ETH, is it secure? do i still need to have a wallet first?

I’ve done a few face to face transactions and no, never in a back alley. All have been very accommodating and it’s actually really nice to chat to someone about crypto who knows what they are talking about and not a bunch of newbs that want to make that quick buck but will most likely will lose their money

I heard people using quadra or local bit coins. There's also people on CL looking to buy. You could also consider selling to people you know that want to get into crypto.

From what I know quadra is used mainly used to convert CAD to either BTC/ETH or vice versa. You transfer btc/eth to an exchange (I recommend binance) to purchase alt coins. Wallet wise, you could keep it on an exchange, but there's a risk of it shutting down or being hacked. You have options for wallets , hardware (ledger nano s), your hard drive/USB , electronic wallets (myetherwallet, also many coins have their own wallets) or paper wallets.

Anybody cash out their BTC or Alt Coins for real CAD currency? It seems like buying in is super easy but getting it back out is a real journey. I've only used Coinbase for buying in so far.

You enter in what you bought on what date for how much per and how many coins and then it keeps track of it from then there on.

I got in at ico and sold 600k tokens at .01.........right before the pump too, biggest mistake of my crypto life so far.. hurt me inside... hurt me bad.. lol

I'm just getting raped from the conversion and fees from binance.

is there any cheap economical way of buying alt coins on binance? they use BTC as their base.

moving any alt coins from other exchanges to binance then trading it for BTC in order to buy XRP / XLM / TRX i end up losing so much.
