Anyone still hodling on verge or buying back in?

Mr.Money 12-31-2017 01:06 AM

" due to South Korea's possible actions to crack down on the cryptocurrency."

hold the hell up,why would one country be a big player for the market to go down?...its a drip in the bucket imo

SkinnyPupp 12-31-2017 01:24 AM

Yes Korea, please crack down so people can buy in some more LUL

If any single country's "crack down" was going to kill Bitcoin, it would have been China.

People just use any excuse to buy or sell... You hear these news stories that serve as "reasons" for stock to go up or down, but it never actually makes logical sense.

Anyone still holding XVG is an idiot at this point. Shit privacy coin that was hyped by McAfee with a useless development team. Wraith protocol was hyped for months but never came. Someone just outed a document listing IPs with transaction IDs. Haven't checked if it's legitimate or FUD, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was actually real.

VEN/VET is going to be big in 2018. I've been holding it since it was 20 cents and they just announced nodes with a rewards system like NEO/GAS. Averaged up and bought enough to have a strength node.

I just read up on many examples of it being hacked and ppl losing their coins

but I'm not ready to get a hardware one, yet

haven't finalized anything, just thinking of making use of spare parts

is your's running windows or Linux?

BlackV62K2 01-01-2018 11:59 PM

What do you guys recommend for a hardware wallet?

Running windows. If your worried buy a hardware wallet. Check https://www.mikescomputershop.com/ for hardware. Cards are overpriced but what are you going to do. I would get on it now then later. 580 RX 8 gb and 1070's are your best bet.

I use a Trezor but I kind of regret not buying a Nano Ledger S instead

Rallydrv 01-02-2018 08:15 AM

anybody know, if i m holding BTC in coinbase can i withdraw it directly to another currency in Binance by giving its wallet address or do i need to transfer it to BTC first then trade

kr4l 01-02-2018 09:01 AM

Your btc needs to be in binance before you trade it

Your shit will be lost forever if you do that. Wallets are token-specific.

are you fetching XMR or ETH?

yeah think I will just get started with Threadripper and 1080Ti, if I like the return I'll consider the Ledger Nano S and dedicate a rig to 580s or Vegas if they restock

iwantaskyline 01-02-2018 01:45 PM

What do you guys think of Stellar? Can it eventually surpass Ripple?

ETH. XMR was designed for CPU's not GPU's. The one exception is Vega 56 and Vega 64 cards. The 1080TI will do 900 h/s the reference Vegas will do at least double that.

Check out https://whattomine.com/

I am also starting to do some burstcoin mining. That uses hard drives to mine.
