is it ok to buy there instead of an online account??

They charge quite a lot for service fees. I would avoid it.

when we were poking around with the machine at waves it looked like it was a flat fee of $3.50. but we didn't dig too deep into it.

But at what price are they selling you the bitcoin at? They could be charging 20 or 30% more than market price.

know one of the operator of these atm. you are spot on its atleast 20% of current quadrigcx price. Price is also depending on their own btc supplies. you will discover that the atm are not always available for use. aka when they run out of btc the atm will have a nice message saying out of service

Easiest way i've found to buy as of right now is coinsquare.io. The instant equifax verification lets you buy 1k CAD max limit daily using interac e-transfer. Quadriga still hasn't verified my account after like a month. Localbitcoin and Localethereum prices are always 10-20% above spot which is ridiculous. Coinsbase lets you buy around 1k a week at spot but withdrawls are like ... days.

One downside to coinsquare is you have to wait 7 days before you can move your currency or tokens. there prices are also higher than Quad. I have seen there sell price be sometimes $20 to $40 higher than quads buy price. Too bad they make you wait 7 days.

If anyone is interested, my guy is selling btc at market price plus 7% fee.

Funds can be sent straight into your exchange wallet and you can start trading right away

went to blenz like 2 weeks ago on richmond and westminster highway, lady working said it has been broken for almost 2 months

im guessing fees would be 5% - 7% for that atm

So you’re guessing the fees are 5% - 7% for atm and it’s been broken for 2 Months but reply to my message that it is 7% and it’s safer to put a bunch of money into a ghetto ass box and hopefully will give you some ‘imaginary’ currency onto your digital wallet. Ok

Can’t believe I’m wasting my time trying to help people out with crypto

WTFBBBBBQQQQQ FXXKING hard to set up a 8 gpu mining rig...

took me 2 days to stabilize it.

Now, 2 more rigs to go....FML

ray666 01-26-2018 09:06 PM

^^ at least you have GPUs to set up rigs with. I'll consider myself lucky if I can source one GPU a week.

?????????????????????????????????

my friend and I used the bitcoin atm near UBC before and it was 7%, so i was guessing 5-7% for richmond one

its not a ghetto box you retard, it is a legit atm.

best bet right now for anyone is either get verified from quadrigacx or use coinsquare.

are you fucking stupid????? why do i bother helping people online.

edit: no fucking wonder, trying to cash out BTC by ripping people off in person with your "vig fee" and claiming the btc came from your "buddy"

get the fuck out

Manic! 01-26-2018 09:45 PM

Charging 7% over market price is not ripping people off. Quad charges 1.5% with a minimum of $5 for interact online and there is a 1 month or longer wait to get verified . Coinsquare is higher than market price and you can't more the crypto for 7 days. ezbtc is way higher than market price and so are the ATM's.

After exchange fee's and price fluctuations 7% is not much.

One Question.....

TAX...

If I withdraw 3-4K every month to my bank account.

Doesn't it look suspicious to CRA ?

Oh ...and 8 GPU rig tripped my surge protector.
I had to plug it into a single power outlet just for that rig alone.

Pay your taxes like a normal person.

EDIT: My bad, misread. As long as you declare it on your tax refund as capital gains, then it's fine.
