Definately the officiating is different from what we are use to in the NHL, but not too uncommon in beer league hockey.

Heroic save followed by a goal, rough. Missing our top 2 centres is hurting now.

refs are horrible today. quick whistles all game and then when fucale makes the huge save, and has it covered the refs let the fins rip it out. of course this leads to a goal. also for all the unsportsmanlike they are giving canada, which is deserved, the things that are causing it such as the extremely late spraying of the goalie is being let go and is what is making them snap lol. imo badly managed game by refs. canada still playing like crap anyways though

Correct me if I'm wrong but your comparison doesn't really work. You're comparing a player who didn't make the USA team to other countries Olympians. While I do see your point that you're trying to make, if may help to compare Ryan to those that are in the USA team.

Brutal game by Canada, everyone was playing solely as individuals. No passing, no teamwork. Tough to watch. And that Finnish player being "hurt" on the penalty shot so they can throw out their best player, wow.

Canada showed up at the 58minute mark. Alil.too late. You can blame it on officiating but Canada lost it for themselves.

Canada deserved to lose today, what a joke of a showing. But that Finnish player with the "hurt hand" who didn't take the penalty shot should hand in his man-card (or at least not be allowed to play next game).
