Sedin's, Kesler, Hamhius, Tanev, and Lack should be untouchables. Everyone else should be available to be traded to help find "real" top 6 forwards for the Sedin's for the next 5 years until they retire.

Kesler needs someone who can make a play with him on his line. Someone like Evander Kane, Kyle Turris, or David Perron.

I gotta say, Perron would be pretty good for the Canucks right now. Can't believe Edmonton got him for Paajarvi and 2nd Round.

duc_evo_sp 02-24-2014 02:34 PM

Alex Edler 5 million + Mike Santorelli .5 milliion for Kyle Turris 3.5 million.

It's good for both teams, Edler plays with a puck moving/ offensive minded defenceman in Erik Karlsson. Elder's offense has diminished since Sami Salo has left. Thet get Santorelli who has alot of potential for having a break out year until he got injured. He's a Ontario boy too.

We get Kyle Turris who is young and can play with the Sedin's or Kesler.

Nabatron 02-24-2014 02:37 PM

Ottawa would be stupid to take that deal! 5.5 in combined salary for a mediocre dman and decent centre who is UFA at the end of the year for a guy making less then them...Plus Santo is from BC....

duc_evo_sp 02-24-2014 02:40 PM

Roberto Luongo 5.3million+ David Booth 4.25 million = Florida 1st 2014

A change of teams for Luongo would be good for his career and David Booth needs to find his scoring touch with Florida again. Both Played for Florida. The Pather's Gm doesn't have to give up on future prospects for Luu and Booth. And Luu is locked up until he retires and grooms his backup.

Lack gets a 3 year 3 million deal.

Joacim Eriksson plays back up.

Joe Cannata plays back up.

Iceman-19 02-24-2014 02:40 PM

Lol Santo is a Burnaby boy you retard.

Sadly I cant fail this.:failed:

duc_evo_sp 02-24-2014 02:45 PM

Jason Garrision 4.6 million +Jordon Schroeder + 4th 2014 draft = David Perron 3.82 million

We get Perron a certified top 6 center for Sedin's or Kesler. They get a good prospect C in Schroeder and the complete their defense with Garrison.

duc_evo_sp 02-24-2014 02:47 PM

I thought he was from Ontario, jeez. Instead of flaming me. We should constructively come up with ways to help the team rebuild.

radioman 02-24-2014 02:48 PM

He took the bait

:joy:

:derp:

EDIT: Did we just give up 6 skaters to get 2 back :lawl:

Or we could leave it up to the Canucks management. Go back to NHL 2013.

Nabatron 02-24-2014 02:53 PM

No, we give up 5 players and get back two offensive minded scorers.
Plus we lose 5, 5.25,4.6, 4.2 .550 million and return 3.5, 3.83 million in return.
Our cap is lower overall.

duc_evo_sp 02-24-2014 02:56 PM

Or have an opinion on hockey, rather than listen to team 1040!

duc_evo_sp 02-24-2014 02:59 PM

Ice man, any opinions on making the team better? Radio man? Nabatron?

Holy fuck you can't possibly be that stupid.

duc_evo_sp 02-24-2014 03:05 PM

We need 6 top forwards, bottom 6 forwards.
Top 4 defense paring, bottom 2 pairing.

Nabatron 02-24-2014 03:14 PM

you are dumping salary for decent players and thinking other GM's don't notice this its called the CAP era your going to need to trade/package deals around it....

I am proposing that the Sedin's are going retire after their new contract is finished.

We need to allows some of our prospects that we have now to mature into good players that would help the team in 3 to 5 years time.

Gaunce, Horvat, Shinkaruk, Kassian, Jensen, Fox

Are defense is way too pricey. We need to move them out and bring in our defense from out prospect pool.

Webber, Sauve, Stanton, Corrodo,Cederholm .

I am dumping top 3 of 4 defense on any other teams.

Beiska, Edler, Garrison. Would make a top pairing with any other team they land on.

Hamhius and Tanev need to stay.

We should be looking to downsize our 22 million dollar defense core.
