Instead of suspending the coach for taking care of his team, suspend Hartley for causing the problem.

The League needs to look at the Coaches, one coach sends there goons, a reaction who be to protect their stars and send our goons in return.

Torts should have just cross-checking someone in the head so he would only get fined.

If I was a coach, I would do the same thing.

I have never been a hockey coach, but if I was one. I would do everything in my power to protect my players. That's my role, I would be livid if another coach who seems to not give a shit about his players on his shitty team, would play them against my teams top line.

And PJ STOCK is a bitch and should look for a job that doesn't have to do with broadcasting! Where DON CHERRY when you need him?, because he is a hockey coach and I would respect his opinion on this matter.

If that's the case, isn't it fair that the league is implying that Hartley instigated or at least facilitated the line brawl to begin with? If so, why would the refs even allow that line to start the game (yes, I read Fraser's opinion). Furthermore, had the refs forced Hartley to change his starting line, would he still get fined for the attempt?
