Speaking of Corrado, here's another player with good upside that could one day quarterback a powerplay.. |
Man... One game...one game and we'd be talking about how fast Lu's jersey goes in the rafters rather than whether or not he's happy to start in Vancouver next year. |
my god, brier to montreal.. WOOT! and boston trading seguin + peverly away...interesting |
Horcoff to Stars for Larsen and 7th. |

so out of the entire trade we made with the panthers to acquire Ballard, the only leftover piece is Quinton Howden. oreskovich's gone. bernier & grabner didnt work for them. so we pretty much gave them a 1st round pick in Quinton Howden for nothing. and why the hell is it taking so long to resign Tanev... |

I doubt he'd do that though. |
I don't know if I'm reading into this a lot, but it seems the Front Office is using the "Olympics" to keep Lu here. Kind of cunty in my books. |
Luongo is a professional. Plus he has alot of good friends here. Im pretty sure he'll report. |
they're kissing ass and trying to get in his good books by calling him an Olympian goalie...while all along they've been trying to trade him. Just slimey tactics. |
^ so? it was the right move to keep him anyway |

It's tough to call, because the blame can be put on so many people... -AV for making Cory the #1 when he was a backup - and they didn't benefit from it at all after 2 playoff series -Lu for being stubborn with his NTC despite no longer being the #1 -MG for constantly telling Lu they were going to move him -MG for holding out to get return for Lu, despite having no real bargaining power -Lu for still being stubborn with the NTC, causing MG to have even less bargaining power -Aquilini for getting involved at all -MG for pulling the trigger on a trade without talking to Lu first, despite telling him they'd be moving him for 2 years -Lu for continuing to be stubborn with the NTC, which gave MG literally no bargaining power by the time the 2013 season ended -MG and Aquilini for signing the ridiculous contract in the first place -Cory for being a ginger The whole thing is just a mess, but that's par for the course for the Canucks and goalies it seems :fuckthatshit: |

It's the Canucks who sign his paycheck. It's the Canucks who paid him $10 M in 2010/11. He knows it's a business. If he doesn't report and if the Canucks were douches, they could potentially let him sit until his contract expires. :lawl: |
MG told the media he will move him, maybe there was a secret deal in place Gillis told Luongo he is safe and will not want to move him unless it is to Florida. Rather sky rocket cory's value all season claiming he is our #1 goalie. :fulloffuck: |

And reports were that Lu was freaking out a bit. He still hasn't even talked to the media So yeah I am not buying that theory |
We need to get this guy, if he can score 30 goals with joe thorton he can do 40 goals with the sedins. He can throw hits too. NHL |
iono about setoguchi, hes not very consistant plus his defensive play needs a lot of work |

Sometimes I think people, even good NHL goalies like Luongo, just want to spend some quality time with their family and ignore these media hacks. Many people who follow the Canucks, if they wanted to know more about Lu, know that his wife is from Florida. Perhaps the reason that Luongo isn't talking time to the media is because he knows that it's better to spend time with his wife and kid in hot and sunny Florida than to talk with a bunch of reporters. Luongo: "I don't give a rat's ass about the media right now. It's my wife and kid that come first". A guy who knows his priorities in life. -sounds like common sense to any guy who is a father and a husband. :bigthumb: Good for Lu to ignore news articles like the shit that Spector from Sportsnet writes about the Canucks. This Canucks basher is probably criticizing the Canucks because his homer team the Oilers were not able to get Schneider. |
Lu doesn't owe anyone anything. Not doing interviews etc doesn't mean anything IMO Posted via RS Mobile |
Is it just me... or is Dallas stacked as fuk right now |
Everyone else is doing interviews. Cory did interviews, and he's the one who got traded. It's part of their job to deal with the media. Even though it's the off-season, it is trade, draft, and free agent season. He has every right not to do so, but it does mean something. If he was happy about the move, he would be talking to the media. |
Wtf horcoff to stars |
he's doing an interview tomorrow, albeit with the FOX. |
