PK Subban posts a video on Instagram of himself going beast mode in the gym. -uses the hashtag #sunsoutgunsout.

He does chin ups with 100 lbs of weight strapped to his weight.

That's about 316 lbs of hanging weight when you include his own body weight.

Jonathan Bernier's new equipment arrived.
Liking the subtle blue stitching and Leaf stripes on the stick. Mask is Cujo-esque so expect Sun articles, based soley on the mask, suggesting he's the next Cujo :rukidding:

It's a long debate on how effective it really is, but it's similar to "can black tape fool goalies easier" debate.

White gear creates an illusion that the goalie is bigger.
And it also blends the goalie's equipment in, making it look like their's empty net to shoot at when there isn't.

I get the reasoning with white pads, but they are boring as hell and I'm sure the water boys are cursing them cleaning off the puck marks in between games lol

Yeah, white is boring as hell. I guess when win/loss means everything, function first.

Maybe nearly all black is boring too, but I would personally want this theme.
