Oh man... Feel bad for the Canucks and 7ack. 7 goals in one period... Posted via RS Mobile |
One of the reasons we're here? Torts not starting Lu, if he started Lu we'd still have a world class goalie. |

Man, I wish the Abbotsford Heat was the Canucks farm team! I would drive out for those games. :) |
Lesson learned. The game is never over for the Canucks unless we are up 8-0. dL |
The 6 goals were mentioned during the final minutes of the Leafs game so I had to switch. Wow. |
|
What worries me is every NHL team is gonna know the Canucks are very fragile and vulnerable. |

the way the fans treated luu after the SCF is the reason he's no longer here, not torts, not gillis |

Hope this team burns to the ground and management is forced to do a proper rebuild. Aqualini - this is karma for being a greed son of a bitch and wanting to 'make the playoffs' just for the revenue of the 2 playoff games. |

Winnipeg up next. 4:30 start. Not many games left. |
Torts needs to GTFO immediately. |
This is impressive. |

Love how everyone has this romantic notion of a "rebuild" Teams like the Av's, oilers, jackets, flames, etc etc have been rebuilding for years with almost no success, how are we suppose to rebuild with picks In the 20 to 30 range when we can't even develop NHLers taken in the top 10. Take a page out of Seattle Seahawks book. Problem is, there's no hockey smarts in this organization. Actually, I take that back....... this organization has no people smarts. You make a team of players who know they are part of a machine and that they are all an integral part. You don't put all your eggs in one basket and you assure the players that there is a good plan in place and.... I can go on with this stuff, but the management clearly has no idea how to deal with people. Players are professionals and they should be this or that...... bottom line is they are human. They have emotions. |

It's going to be the dark ages for the next while. Aquilini has clearly let his heart make some of the decisions with this team. The problem is that he just doesn't own the Canucks - he owns Rogers Arena and the buildings that will surround it. The Canucks may be a big asset, but they're just one in his portfolio of many. There's no way he's selling the team, unless someone offers him a ridiculous price for it. Ego is a powerful thing. |
