I don't get where that girl is getting her votes from. Her blog (which doesn't even have its own domain name) is a PR0 (so nobody links to it) and she only has like 300 twitter followers (so she has no readership)... so what gives? :suspicious:

I have been voting for Ed because as far as I know he's the only other one besides me who would do Richmond food any justice...

I don't think she's cheating... it must be pure word of mouth, which is really weird.

The winner is chosen as a job, so votes don't mean much in the end. I doubt they'd hire her in the end, but it sucks that she'd be put over people who would do a better job because of this

amongst all the locals, I've only met Mijune and I know Ed...
Both of which are influencers in the Social Media scene in town

So who knows what she is doing.

In all seriousness, I don't think she's cheating but she has a very fanatical support network that's willing to spend hours convincing others to vote and consistently getting them to vote every day. I have a big reach in social media but most of those people don't know me personally and while I can convince them to vote for me once or twice, most aren't going to have a set time each day when they log into Facebook and vote together, like I know some of her friends are doing. I don't want to be that much of a bother to that many people anyways. I feel bad enough for the spam.

The solution would've been to allow one vote per person rather than allowing one vote per 24 hours. That would've been a true look at how many people any one of the finalists reach.
