I wish I was recording games.. I just had this 'oh shit' moment where the opponent must have been throwing his ipad against a wall.. I think I would have if I were him!
Just one of those perfect draws - he had 12 health + 4 armor and I was pretty much down to my last turn, with a leper and ragnoros in play. Had a brawl card and a fiery axe. Attacked him with the leper and fiery and threw down a brawl card...
long story short, brawl killed everyone but the ragnoros, leper death takes off his remaining armor, end of turn, ragnoros hits him for 8 and wins the game... ANY other scenario and I would have been dead. I was having issues keeping his minions at bay
Enjoying warrior so far, but I said the same thing about rogue when I started that deck.. I got to 16 with that deck, then back to 20. Let's hope this one is a bit more consistent. At least it's fun
Decided to give Druid a try, making use of my Onyxia card.. the deck I have is slow going, I'll have to put some cheaper minions in there. But I had quite a nice run at the end.
Hunter had 28 health and 4 minions up. I was toast on this turn. But I got my draw.
Onyxia + Mark of the Wild + Soul of the Forest + Savage Roar to clear the board. (I didn't take a screenshot before this because I wasn't sure if it was going to work)
2nd turn: A board full of Treants and Savage Roar again (you can see he tried Hunter's Mark). I only realized now that I didn't need to use it the second time but why not since I drew it :P
Edit: Actually I have plenty of cheaper minions in this deck, I just didn't draw a single one all the way up to turn 10.
Just drew a paladin arena deck where I got zero purples, zero oranges, and almost no cards came up worth more than 4 mana. My BEST card is a Gurubashi Berzerker. RNG sure loves me for this game
OMG just had the most epic comeback EVER.. guy had me down to 8 health and he was in 20's... I got JUST the right minions up.. my fucking BERSERKER with divine shield saved my ass.
Druid sucked. Playing a "zoo" Warlock deck now... I find that I either win in 4-6 turns or I have problems getting overrun by minions... I added an AOE to my deck so we'll see if that helps.
Just wait, an Android version will come out eventually. If you do get an ipad, make sure it's one with 1GB of RAM. The ones with 512MB crash after every game
just got my first legendary and it's a ragnaros! easily one of the best in the deck...what a game changer...havent lost yet and just going up in ranks right now lol
i think i easily opened 40+ expert packs to get this card..
^^ Grats. I still have the same 2 legends (I DE'd Onyxia though)
Running this deck now, it's going well so far
Played a paladin who was being all cocky with emotes when I coined for Knife Juggler + Apprentice. I did great on the RNG for knife throws, and buffed my taunts with Argus. He must have been so mad, he conceded at turn 6
Just played against a similar warrior deck to my old one as this mage. He had the exact same problem I did. He had me down to 7 by turn 7, but once I cleared his board and put down all my minions (with juggler) it was a whole new game. Finished him off (26 health) in 3 turns.
Stopped playing for ~2 weeks and decided to pick it up again yesterday. Felt that I got more than enough value/fun from the game and decided to toss the developers some $$ and did my first iap.
First 3 were pretty much garbage or dust, was about to rage then suddenly....
Literally shit my pants....
Now, I am in such a dilemma. I am 390 dust short of crafting my first (crafted) legendary. I really want rag but I have a stinking feeling I might regret it later as it seems Cho is an awesome insurance for Mirror Miracle rogue matches when you do not have a stealth by turn 6/7.
Just rolled the shittiest hunter arena you can imagine. All 3 classes were unfamiliar so I thought it might be easy enough to just draw a lot of beasts... Except only 3 beasts came up along with a couple companions and a hound card. Just brutal!
