I really like the new Tavern Brawl. Win a game every week for a deck with different features each week. Getting back into the game is really easy and pretty awesome for casual players

I always just buy 50 packs and go from there... I did buy quite a few when I first started though.

Even though I bought the 50, I still have about 2400 gold to buy packs with as well

Prepurchased the expansion through Amazon for $45 and ended up using the coins for Medivh lol. Probably the only time I would get it is if it was "free".

i hit the shop and it says opening necropolis for the first time and there is a loading circle. it just keeps going and hasn't stopped for 5 mins now.

tl:dr -> buy the preorder pack for $40 USD using 5000 amazon coins. After your purchase you will have 2500 coins left over ($25 value)

Step 1: Buy 5000 amazon coins for $40 USD

Step 2: Download Hearthstone from amazon app store

Step 3: Purchase pre-order pack from within hearthstone app, It will say it costs 4999 coins (but it actually costs 4999-1500 coins = 3499 THIS IS YMMV) -> you will also receive 1000 coins back!

Step 4: Wait for packs to release.. RFD tourney?

Help for Getting your Amazon Account "Americanized":
-amazon.com->Your Account->Manage Address Book->Delete All current addresses->Enter A New Address-> enter random legit US address (use a state with no tax such as Delaware. I used Newark, Delaware)
-change to a US address on Amazon account under Manage Your Content and Devices --> Settings (credits to Kingmoo)

steps that led to success from another user (Thank you Unicorny):
I had an issue where when I checked out on Hearthstone, it only gave me the option to pay in CDN. But I found a way to purchase with coins on an existing amazon account that is Canadian. What I did was:
1) Delete my address, add in a US one.
2) Went to Your Account -> Your Apps and Devices, then deleted the app and my devices (On the Canadian Site)
3) Went to Your Account -> Manage Your Content and Devices -> Settings, then changed the Country from Canada to United States
4) Redownloaded Hearthstone

Then it worked for me

Method to emulate android on your PC (e.g. u have iOS) (credits to kycka1):
Note: all on amazon.com and the emulation on the PC
Whew, finally got it to work. I got 1000 coins back as well...

- Got the $50 USD gift card using a Canadian CC with Canadian billing address
- Switched country to US through "Manage devices"
- Deleted all addresses and payment methods
- Re-added Canadian CC, set billing address to a fake one in Oregon
- Bought the 5000 coins for $40 USD

Here's how I got the cards on my Windows 10 machine:

1) Install Duos Lolipop: http://www.amiduos.com/lollipop
2) Launch Amazon App store (preinstalled) and download Hearthstone. You need to enable unknown sources in Settings in order to install it.
3) Use a VPN service in order to get a US IP. I used Hotspot VPN trial: http://www.hotspotshield.com/
4) Launch Hearthstone on the Android VM
5) Purchase the 50 card pre-order pack

Yea the Amazon app store is probably the cheapest you'll be able to get packs from.

Chances are this weekend is also going to be 30% off. Usually whenever they have a tournament that is Amazon sponsored the coin back will be more. Not always though.

Also best to stock up when they run promotions on the coins as well as this is more rare. Last time I stocked up was when it was Prime Day. 10% off and an additional $25 worth of coins. Stack that up with the 30% back and you get a good number of packs lol.

i heard it'll be out on 24th. someone said if you change your computer date to the 24th, the pre-purchased GT packs will be available to open but it'll just crash your game.

Could be that, or maybe that was a place holder date... That's probably the best theory though

What kind of decks have you guys been theorycrafting? First deck I'm probably going to try out is a Dragon Warrior. Probably going to wait a bit to see which neutral legendaries to craft but I'll most likely craft Varian and Rhonin

I got golden mage playing nothing but freeze. Next up will be warrior which is at 470 or so. Was killing it with Patron for a while, going like 22-2 but have hit a wall the last 2 days.
