I played arena 3 times yesterday, and did pretty poorly with mage twice. As mentioned, I didn't get my important spells in the first one.. Well in the second, I DID get pyro and 2 fireballs... I even got an epic (Ysera, other choices were Deathwing and Harrison). No flamestrike though, and no arcane intellect. Never drew my pyro or Ysera once (well I did get Ysera on mulligan). So if my opponent had draw cards, I didn't have a chance. Otherwise it was about who could topdeck the best cards by turn 14+. It was pretty lame.
Same story on my druid. I got BOTH Ancients, AND two Wild Growth (even draw them with coin on my mulligan draw). I thought I had a nice deck similar to a constructed ramp druid. But nope, without draw, I had nothing. Well I had draw, but with Druid sometimes you can't use draw.. if you need to wrath for 3, then you don't draw. If you need to heal with your ancient, you lose draw. So it was the same thing, holding my dick while the opponent built up the board with minions and I couldn't do anything about it.
I need to figure out Arena. I thought I had it figured out after I did well with my shammy.
I'm rank 14 on ladder using a combo of my zoo and mage. I still make stupid decisions, either not thinking things through clearly, or taking big gambles that don't pay off. Need to work on that to go higher.

Blizzard just announced the pricing for the expansion Curse of Naxxruma. First wing is free, 700 gold per wing thereafter, should be coming out in the next two weeks. Very reasonable imo! Now I just need to do my daily quests and keep grinding to get those gold.
I just had the most epic comeback. Prior to the last turn, I played my Yeti with a Flametongue and a harmless totem. He then played his King Krush and decided to cripple my Shaman down to two health against his hunter. His Hunter has 21 health while I was down to 2! I Rockbiter my Yeti and played my Windspeaker's battlecry to windfury my Yeti and also I had a 2/1 weapon. 22 damage! I wish I screenshot it lol.
Cleared every Hero/Challenge in 1-2 tries and kept failing at Mae Hero, decided to use my Secret/MD Hunter deck and stumbled on the 1/1 spider trick too.
Here's how I killed it:
Basically, try your best to mull for UTH/Explosive Trap and try to load up with cheap stuff like the wisp, 0/4 shield taunt dude.
Once there is 3-4 spiders out (It usually T1 coin spider), load up the explosive and let him flood his side with 1/1 mobs. Use your UTH and GO FOR FACE and trade =<7(when you get a taunt up) for 9 (7 hounds + Hero power). The boss will never trade thus you literally cockblock him from summoning anything and when you flood your side with 7 hounds there is a good chance your cheap tanks will not get returned.
Hopefully you draw 1-2 +1 Wolfs or leroy and can out "Face" him before he out spiders you.
I tried the same deck over 10 battles and when I managed to get UTH/Explosive by T3 I won, usually, by turn 7.
Just started playing this game last night. Seems pretty fun, relaxing, which is what I find I enjoy nowadays.
Favourites so far are mage and paladin. I'm playing casual against players and winning about 50% of the time only right now. Seems like some games I stomp the opponent because I happen to draw what I need most of the time. And other games, the opponent happens to have counters for everything, or I simply don't draw anything useful at all...
hope this comes out for android, I wouldn't mind playing this on the pooper xD
EDIT:
forgot to ask. What do you guys recommend I do with my gold? I don't plan on spending any real money on this game. I have accumulated ~260 gold ish so far, and wasn't sure if I should save it or just spend it on packs?
